ANOTHER BACCARAT CLONE IN DISGUISE
This one definitely has that Baccarat Rouge DNA, but with less spun sugar and more caramel. It’s also not as sweet as Baccarat. The citruses in the opening are different, too. And there’s a clear floral heart with delicate rose and jasmine peeking through. But let’s be real, once you smell it, Baccarat is the only thing that comes to mind. It’s similar enough that your brain basically says, “Oh, we’ve been here before.” There are some differences, sure, but the vibe is the same.

I’ve never been a huge fan of this DNA anyway, to me it reads kind of medicinal. It also reminds me of Albizia, which had me going, “Wait… do I already own this?” And unfortunately, I do. Both Albizia and Tinharé were blind buys that turned out to be mistakes, because they all share that same Baccarat Rouge-style DNA. That airy, amber-woody sweetness that starts pretty but quickly feels a bit chemical and overbearing. Both of them sit on my shelf looking nice but not getting worn. I keep thinking I’ll grow to like them, but it’s not happening. Both Albizia and Whispers of Truth have moss listed in the base, and you can definitely pick up that earthy, grounded element from it.

If you want a more citrusy, floral take on Baccarat Rouge, Whispers of Truth could work. But for me, the best alternative is still Instant Crush... It’s sweeter, lasts longer, and honestly the only one from this DNA that I actually enjoy (and can smell properly).

Now, the cupcake bottle? Gorgeous. Absolutely. Like, Instagram-core perfection. But unless you really need that white cupcake on your vanity, I’d skip it. They’ve got prettier designs and better scents in the same lineup. This one just feels unoriginal and kind of unnecessary.

Sillage says everything
I knew House of Sillage from their previous creations. As soon as collection “Whispers in the Garden” hit the market, I purchased their samples. Most of them are very easy to wear and have light floral scents, but “Whispers of truth” is different story. It came few years ago, but right away it become absolute hit among company’s admirers. Prices for remaining collection can easily go down to $145-180 per cup cake, but this one stays the same $495 no matter what and I understand why. If you like Baccarat rouge 540, but can’t stand their medicinal, very heavy ambroxan notes, this composition have gorgeous citrusy-floral-caramel vibe. This one is luxury Baccarat dupe, that lasts all day. I love that it is truly stands to its name and literally whispers the truth about yourself, letting your personality shine, without being overwhelming hit to your surroundings. Amazingly done composition and it is a pleasure to see new cupcakes versions through out the years developing into series of scents. New perfume stands a part from remaining 6 bottles, with colourful pastel decor with original Swarovski Crystals. It could be beautiful gift for someone dear to your heart. It can be used for special occasions to stand out among the crowd without powerful dominance. When person leaves, sillage stays to whisper the truth.

Whispers of Truth - is the name the program here?
I became aware of this perfume house through YouTube. After some research, I stumbled upon a small perfumery in Munich that carries these scents from House of Sillage. Of course, I didn’t hesitate long and set off on the fragrance journey there.
There, I was able to sniff Hauts Bijoux and "Cherry Garden | House of Sillage." Once I got home, I ordered the entire sample set of these fragrances (a total of 10 pieces) along with the Whispers in the Garden Samples (a total of 7 pieces).
All perfumes are Extraits de Parfum with 15 - 25 % perfume oil, depending on the scent.

But now finally to Whispers of Truth ….

This scent is floral, fruity, sweet, creamy.
I perceive orange and grapefruit, with a delicate hint of rose dipped in caramel.
There is always a slightly earthy note coming through, possibly the moss from the fragrance pyramid.

The longevity is quite good, about 6 hours.

The bottle….. yes, you have to like it.
It has the shape of a cupcake or muffin. The glass is colored appropriately depending on the scent and has a gradient. The heavy cap is adorned with colorful Swarovski crystals. The flowers on the cap are also very pretty for this bottle.
Overall, a very valuable item!

The price….. for 75 ml €325, that is quite a lot. But everyone can decide for themselves whether it is worth it.

My conclusion:

Quite nice (no, I don’t mean the little sister of …..), but it doesn’t necessarily have to be. There are better options for this high amount.
Unfortunately, this scent hasn’t made it into my heart or anywhere close!

The truth whispers here….. can you hear it?

Whispers of Truth will probably not ascend to the fragrance Olympus.
It actually goes quite unnoticed, as it has no recognizability!
