Creed GIT more woody and citrus.

From the beginning there is no doubt the resemblance to Creed's Green Irish Tweed, although, in my opinion, it is a much more body-worn interpretation, due to the inclusion, in the formula, of cedar and leather, including a more citrusy and more something sweeter, but equally green, fresh and jovial. In general, an extremely revitalizing aroma.

The beginning is fresh, green and floral, with aromatic and citrus notes of verbena and lemon, very fresh, a beautiful iris flower, nothing dusty, and wrapped by the fresh and sparkling touch of violet leaves and its almost sweet dot. A cheerful and fresh aroma, which contributes enormously to raising our mood. This beginning decreases in intensity, without disappearing, to show us its core of woods, ambergris and a shy leather. A neat, soapy, fresh and cheerful fragrance that, to me at least, is able to get me a smile carrying it. A great option for the time that arrives.

The duration in skin is moderate, reaching 7 hours in skin, with a moderate projection at all times, it is not an extraordinary performance, but if we see what it costs, you can not ask for more, the performance is more than correct.

The use of this beauty, as it could not be otherwise, is for warm and temperate times, and to take it during the day. A fresh, cheerful and jovial aroma that will revitalize you the morning you carry it.

If you like Creed's GIT, do not hesitate, go for it, because you will not be disappointed and your pocket will not suffer, with an unbeatable quality / price ratio. A really recommendable perfume.

More mature Cool Water

After watching a few youtube reviews, i have decided to blind buy. I love Cool Water, but it doesn`t last on me, so i have replaced it with local clone product, that lasts me through the whole working day(9-10 hours).
Lattafa`s product is a bit more dense and woody, for more mature men (30+), i am really satisfied and already ordered a backup bottle. It costs me 7.5 EUR for 100ml plus a deo spray, that i use as room fresher. Lasts a good amount of time(5-6 hours strong on clothes, then slowly fades, but can sniff it on the next day) and is very tonic and invigorate.
Bottle is so so, the cap also, but decent. GIT is too far away from my budget, impossible to find in local stores because of the price, so i can`t confirm the resemblance.
Recommend it definitely!

In memoriam to GIT

...and no, even though I'm a developer, by GIT this time I mean Green Irish Tweed ;)

Oh yes, dark green is a beautiful color. Here I really mean DARK green. Green Irish Tweed is definitely the inspiration for this fragrance, and even if it's not a perfect clone, perhaps that's a good thing. After all, these two fragrances have a lot in common: the fresh, woody-spicy scent that is reminiscent of a forest in thunderstorm weather; so this one is perhaps a little less "spicy".

The fragrance lasts relatively long, which is of course a plus, and it falls into a mossy (not to be confused with musty) woody note.

All in all, I think this is a slightly "younger" GIT alternative that is definitely worth trying at this price.

Good price...BUT...

have tested several Green Irish Tweed clones...

this one starts just like Tres Nuit Eau de Toilette
BUT the H/S does not come close to Tres Nuit Eau de Toilette!
After half an hour it is a skin scent, even this is no longer perceptible after 1-2 hours.

I also find that you can smell pineapple very strongly in the drydown, which is not the case with
Green Irish Tweed is not the case. You notice that the pineapple changes the fragrance a lot!
parfums vintage and alexandria both have very very good GIT clones - would say 95% identical BUT with much better performance and sillage than the original GIT!
after that I would say the TresNuit with 80% similarity, and finally the Raghba with about 70% similarity...

Because of this pineapple, the Raghba almost seems "too sweet, oriental and feminine" to me again or it has this typical pineapple sweetness, which almost all Lataffa fragrances have...

For a 10 it is OK... but I recommend spending 15e directly and investing in the Tres Nuit Eau de Toilette..

It doesn't always have to be "Orient"!

Even if it says "Lattafa" on it. Which is a brand in itself for all kinds of great "Arabic fragrances". I love smelling classics, I have quite a few of them in my collection. But the perfume that now fills the room is not "Middle Eastern" at all, because it is a green freshness with cool aromas that are more "suited" to Scotland or Ireland There is mint, violet and bergamot, Highlands in the cool wind. Some jasmine in a summer mood, alongside lavender bushes and all kinds of herbs. Woody attributes with moss-covered trunks and branches hint at a sparse mixed forest. Old trees stretching up into the cool blue sky.
And for a "fresh one" it has quite a fullness. Firstly, it lasts a long time and secondly, it is intense but pleasantly radiant. If you love greenery, forests, herbs and meadows, this great, very affordable fragrance is worth a test! :-))
