Tamima is Terrific!

Tamima is a fruity musk, though I smell mostly melon (yes there's a slight hairspray vibe lol). I really like this scent for summer! A close dupe to D&G L'Imperatrice 3! It's not super long lasting... It's here for a good time not a long time! I get about 3 hours so you can overspray this one.

*Top notes: Strawberry, Pineapple, Raspberry, Black Currant, Rhubarb, Orange, Lemon.
*Middle notes: Melon, Peach, Violet, Orange Blossom, Rose.
*Base notes: Caramel, Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood.

The bottle is beautiful, heavy and well made. I bought this for $29 when Amazon had a little sale. Also, you are able to sample Arab perfumes using the website HiddenSamples.com

How fruity can it be?

The opening of this fragrance really reminds me of red fruit jelly.
Rhubarb and redcurrants dominate at first, with the kiwi underlining this very nicely.
I can also smell melon at the beginning, although it is still in the background.
I only perceive cyclamen and jasmine as slightly floral notes, they make the fragrance rounder in the heart.
The base is simply a woody dream.

I was given this fragrance as a birthday present and I think it's a perfect summer companion.
It is fruity, but not squeaky sweet, rather the fruits and rhubarb are rather fresh due to the acidity.
If you are looking for a great summer fragrance and like it fruity, this is the one for you.

Melon summer

This summer I'm rocking Tamima. Why? Because this watermelon goes perfectly with it. Tamima is supposed to be reminiscent of L'Impératrice and yes, they are very similar. I have both and Tamima only moved in after Dolce & Gabbana. Did I need that? Yes, because Tamima lasts longer on me and so I layer the two and just have more of the pleasure.

Are there any other differences? Yes, of course. Firstly, the clear price difference and secondly, I still have a slight rubbery note in the opening of Tamima. But I only smell it directly on my arm and not in the air, and fortunately it dissipates after a few minutes. But I accept that, as Tamima is really affordable and will give me a great, fruity melon summer. I can detect the other fruits slightly in the background, but the melon remains the main protagonist.

Tamima is by no means too sweet, but simply fruity with a slight freshness.

As always, the bottle is a matter of taste, but I'm really disappointed with the sprayer. It just sprays unattractively. How should I describe it? So fart-like and short. And the funny thing is that it's exactly the same with its role model L'Impératrice. They are very similar

Wow!!!!

I am surprised that this fragrance has not yet been reviewed. A chance discovery. It smells like I expected Kirkè Extrait de Parfum or "Erba Pura | XerJoff" to smell. I found both of them just unpleasantly foul and musty smelling. Tamima smells so beautifully fresh and fruity, not squeaky, not rotten. Embedded in woody notes. An absolute recommendation to buy!
