Tamima is Terrific!

Tamima is a fruity musk, though I smell mostly melon (yes there's a slight hairspray vibe lol). I really like this scent for summer! A close dupe to D&G L'Imperatrice 3! It's not super long lasting... It's here for a good time not a long time! I get about 3 hours so you can overspray this one.

*Top notes: Strawberry, Pineapple, Raspberry, Black Currant, Rhubarb, Orange, Lemon.
*Middle notes: Melon, Peach, Violet, Orange Blossom, Rose.
*Base notes: Caramel, Vanilla, Musk, Sandalwood.

The bottle is beautiful, heavy and well made. I bought this for $29 when Amazon had a little sale. Also, you are able to sample Arab perfumes using the website HiddenSamples.com

How fruity should it be?

This fragrance really reminds me a bit of red berry compote at the start.
Rhubarb and red currants initially dominate, with the kiwi beautifully accentuating them.
I can also detect the melon at the beginning, but it remains elegantly in the background.
I perceive the alpine violet and jasmine only as slightly floral notes, which round out the fragrance in the heart.
The base is simply a woody dream.

I received this fragrance as a birthday gift and find it to be a perfect companion in summer.
It is fruity, but not overly sweet; rather, the fruits and rhubarb are fresher due to the acidity.
Anyone looking for a great summer fragrance that enjoys fruity scents will find it just right here.

Melon Summer

This summer I'm rocking Tamima. Why? Well, because this watermelon fits perfectly. Tamima is supposed to remind you of L'Impératrice and yes, they are very similar. I have both here, and Tamima moved in after Dolce & Gabbana. Did I need that? Yes, because Tamima lasts longer on me, and so I layer the two and simply enjoy more of the pleasure.

Are there any other differences? Of course. First, the significant price difference, and secondly, I notice a slight rubbery note in the opening of Tamima that lingers. However, I only smell it directly on the skin and not in the air, and fortunately, it dissipates after a few minutes, and then it's completely gone. I'm willing to accept that since Tamima is really affordable and will give me a wonderful, fruity melon summer. I perceive the other fruits slightly in the background, but the main actor remains the melon.

Tamima is by no means too sweet, but simply fruity with a light freshness.

The bottle is, as always, a matter of taste, but I'm really a bit disappointed with the sprayer. It just sprays unpleasantly. How should I describe it? Kind of short and stubby. And the funny thing is, that it's exactly the same with its counterpart "L'Impératrice | Dolce & Gabbana." They are indeed very similar.

Wow!!!!

I am surprised that this fragrance has not been reviewed yet. A chance discovery. It smells just as I expected Kirkè Extrait de Parfum or "Erba Pura | XerJoff" would smell. I found both to be unpleasantly musty and moldy. Tamima smells so beautifully fresh and fruity, not squeaky, not rotten. Embedded in woody notes. Absolutely recommended for purchase!
