Fleeting but Lovely
What a pleasant fragrance. I had no idea I would like it this much when I blind bought it. I was expecting more of a vanilla scent but this is a full perfume with varied notes. It reminds me of a lot of honey-centered perfumes like Morphine and Oajan. The color is beautiful and the opening sweetness dries down to a heavenly sweet vanilla. If it were not for the lasting power of this brand, I would be using a lot more of these.

Just fine black vanilla pod
I admit I'm not a fan of vanilla scents because they always are smelling more or less like vanilla pudding, custard. I like to eat it if genuine pulp out of vanilla pods is used to spice the desserts. But to be true, I seldem enjoy it, because I do not want to become fat.
But there are differences in the quality of vanilla-scents.
Some have an artificial smell of vanillin, some are just too sweet and obstrusive.
But "Vanille Noire" ist a decent vanilla fragrance. It starts woody and spicy without exaggerated sweetness. I'm perceiving the pepper note from the beginning on. Of course the woody vanilla is the main ingredient and rather like genuine vanilla pulp. There is also a faint green note and for my opinion in the base note is appearing a slight fruity note. The developement is short, the longevity good, the sillage is strong as usual for vanilla perfumes. And the price is impressing unexpensive. 100 ml cost 21 €. So I have nothing to complain about "Vanille Noire".

Cared for by Frau Holle (Note: personal)
Frau First has, like many others, a tightly scheduled daily routine filled with obligations and responsibilities. And during the pre-Christmas season... well, many can relate... no need to describe it... that’s when you reach your limits.
Then absolutely nothing unexpected can come up. But the unexpected does not align itself with our wishes.

Yesterday, I wanted to quickly take care of something after work and drove off in my car. After about ten minutes of driving, there was a soft "click" and the needle of my speedometer dropped to zero. Apparently, I was now also driving at zero revolutions. I thought: "Oh, sh... can you really live with that? You kind of know how fast you are." Then I had to turn - uh, no blinker sound. Did I signal or not? The lights were working. Then I arrived and made a mistake: I turned off the engine. It wouldn’t start again. Attempt to jump-start - no luck. The roadside assistance came - even after just half an hour, but stayed nearly two because he couldn’t believe it - no fault found, all fuses okay. And now? Tow truck. Two hours of waiting. Drizzle, getting colder. Workshop? Of course, already closed. Won't reopen until Monday. The car is 12 years old. You can guess what worries Frau First is now facing. You can’t imagine how Frau First’s bank balance unfortunately looks. You might guess what chaos the next weeks will bring...
You can guess when Frau First got home yesterday.
At home, I first made myself the biggest mug of hot mulled wine. How else could I calm down? Yes, by enveloping myself in a soothing scent.
The choice fell on Vanille Noire.
Ahhhh - a delight! Soft, warm vanilla, light yet strong, naturally graceful and wonderfully mild and uncomplicated, so beautifully simple, without any challenges, yet still something special and by no means one-dimensional. Friendly, with a hint of spices that are so subtle that you couldn’t say you distinctly smell cinnamon, pepper, or clove. Refined! It doesn’t smell Christmassy, just simply like fine, fresh vanilla pastries with a hint of rosewater, not with vanillin, no, with real, juicy vanilla bean. A scent, a smile. Frau Holle in heaven has baked vanilla cakes and invites you to fall into her embrace.
I let myself fall. Now I also fall into bed, try to read a few lines, find after maybe 10 clicks the scent from December 10th from the Christmas giveaway at Parfumo and then I fall asleep on Frau Holle’s delicious vanilla waffle clouds. And I even sleep through the night. This morning, only a hint of vanilla remains. But I can just spray some more right away.
P.S. In some thread, someone mentioned the idea of organizing a pre-Christmas "problem gift exchange." I have a little package for that.....
P.P.S. To the people who clicked "less helpful" here, I advise reading package inserts instead of perfume comments. Apparently, they cannot understand that I chose exactly Vanille Noire and nothing else after this day as a statement about the scent.

Vanilla Delight
A few weeks ago, my gaze got stuck on this bottle here at Parfumo....the simple bottle, the pleasantly warm-looking red, and this bright label attracted me like magic. A different kind of fragrance seduction. Thanks to Omara's Souk, I was able to get my hands on the object of my desire. Thank you once again!

This morning, the postman was unusually early. So, as I was leaving, I quickly put a few drops of Vanille Noire on the back of my hand.

Heavenly scents immediately filled my nose: a few berries (though I can't say which ones) spiced with a bit of pepper and cinnamon. Not too sweet, but also not too spicy, just right.

Now off to the office! In the car, with every hand movement, these delicious scent waves kept coming my way. Where is this leading? Of course, to one of the "most delicious" perfume base notes! Gradually, vanilla and rose assert themselves, pushing the heart and top notes aside piece by piece without being intrusive. I fancy I can also smell a bit of (dark) chocolate. Although it's not listed in the fragrance pyramid, it adds some depth and stability to the whole composition and, in my opinion, prevents the scent from becoming too sweet. And since I only like dark chocolate when I do eat it, this suits me perfectly!

What gently envelops me is one of the warmest, coziest, roundest, and most harmonious vanilla scents of recent times. Of course, Vanille Noire is not a candidate like Guerlain's "Shalimar" or Tom Ford's "Tobacco Vanille," as it simply lacks that depth. But VN is always a strong contender when, for example, "Shalimar" is just too much.

The longevity is fantastic for me; I can still perceive a hint of Vanille Noire now (despite washing my hands countless times). I just checked what the good piece is supposed to cost and could hardly believe my eyes: €26 for 100 ml EDP! A steal!

So, anyone who loves vanilla and is looking for a very good and more than affordable winter cuddle scent will be perfectly served with Vanille Noire! The gentlemen of creation can also feel addressed here and show their gentle side ;-)

I'm going to cuddle now....

Fact. Vanitas.
I didn't want to believe it at first, but it actually seems to be the case that 'similarly scented' declared perfumes, here on the right in the picture, have their justification.
Whoever clicked on that, you were absolutely right.

I'll just say it once: BUBBLEGUM!
Here not quite so squeaky penetrating, directly sticky and clinging, and in the nose, but more like a gently cheerful, lively little child, chattering away in the back seat of the car.

Vanilla, of course, but I don't smell rose, clove, finch, or star here. And if someone had said heliotrope, you would have believed that too. For my part, ylang-ylang, ..this pianist is also incredibly versatile.

In Vino Vanillo Vanitas.

Incredible quality for the price. Resinous, warmly spiced, grown-up vanilla. No cupcake or vanillin silly business.

Vanilla is now all about berries and spices.
You won't recognize it
constantly high and way too loud
Poor thing

Vanilla, at night,
dances at first in spiced honey light.
Clove arrives with a peppery touch,
impressing her with Prosecco.
Warm, spicy, delicious.

Starts off like a slightly dusty hay bale (probably spices + berries), the dry down smells like dark chocolate, really good!

Roasted almonds meet smoky vanilla. And someone left the spice cabinet open with the pepper shaker too. Not overly sweet.

This is how vanilla should be. Not too sweet with all the tropical fruits or too much oud. No, just like this. A few berries, a bit of patchouli. Done!

Fine vanilla gourmand, pleasantly sweet with a hint of spicy sharpness, simply irresistible. Why noire?

Lightly caramelized vanilla, semi-sweet, the red berries are tart, more the aroma than the fruit, woody fluff in the base. Doesn't blow me away.

Deep dark boozy berries alongside laundry-soft vanilla. Patchouli in the background. Very complex, totally interesting. Hats off!

Vanilla with a slightly herbal-fruity twist. Dark, aromatic, slightly sour berries. Spiced with pepper and clove. Christmas rum pot.
