Is it already Christmas?
Super fragrant, amazing, and absolutely delicious that I would drink it if I could!!!!!!!!

After Tendre Madeleine, I already knew which direction Figue Sauvage was going; the sample was nice, but too small (Hihihihihi)...

Today my 100ml bottle arrived! A relatively small package, but very well packed; some samples fell out at first. Then the box, wrapped in cellophane. I eagerly tore open the cellophane, then slowly opened the box and took out the bottle.

The color in the photo is exactly like the original, a light, watery lavender.

And then, cap off and sprayed. Immediately, I felt transported back to old times, when it was just before Christmas, we baked cookies with Mom, and the kitchen was filled with the scent of baked goods while we nibbled on dried figs that were so sweet and so delicious. I loved them as a child, even though I only got to see them in dried form back then.

Today I know what the tree and the leaves look like and smell like, and that the green figs in Spain are called Higos and the blue figs are Brebas.

This scent leans more towards Brebas. They smell and taste different from the green ones, which are mainly sweet. Brebas are more intense in scent and flavor and not quite as sugary sweet as the greens. And that is reflected in the fragrance as well.

I can't stop sniffing my wrist.

The bergamot and green notes disappear very quickly after application, but you can clearly notice them; they create an interesting opening for what comes next. The slightly bitter note of the bergamot then gives way to the soft, sweet fig.
Soft and sweet, with the violet in the background, which I didn't notice at first, but it's there! It really highlights the aroma of the fig. However, I couldn't identify the ylang-ylang in the top note. I will pay attention to it in the future and update if I can perceive it after all.

Slowly, veeeery slowly, the fragrance transitions into the woody base note, where neither the vanilla nor the sandalwood dominate, but rather emphasize the softness so that the fig can continue to spread its beautiful, creamy, warm scent.

For me, it’s an absolute stroke of luck that I discovered Laurence Dumont and his "Les Senteurs Gourmandes" series. The fragrances are priced absolutely reasonably, as what you get is clearly worth much more.

Will I get them all??? Let's see what my husband says ;-D.

To all friends and lovers of gourmet fragrances: This one is an absolute hit and definitely worth buying.

Creamy and beautiful.
There are new treats to comment on.

The first impression is very good. Figue Sauvage starts off sweetly with a delicate fresh splash of bergamot, green notes, while ylang likely provides the lovely touch. Okay, that's what it says in the pyramid, but for once it holds true here, and you can smell it.
However, I find that the top note is also underlaid with vanilla, making the fragrance feel creamy.
Now, I do love creamy scents, especially when they start off so cozy. My mind immediately says: 'I have to have this'.

And, oh wonder, in the heart note, the fig and a beautiful floral note come into play. Yes, it becomes a violet.*amazed*
Now the fragrance darkens, without losing its sweetness and creamy softness.
Additionally, there is a powderiness, soft and light.

The scent is not too gourmand, but it evokes slight memories of the sweet treat Loukhoum. Yet it will never be a sweet bomb or too loud.
This is also ensured by a note that makes me think of bitter almond, which fits wonderfully here.

Sandalwood also makes its presence known later on, without the fragrance becoming woody.
Here, every note can be smelled and is harmoniously connected.

My conclusion: a beautiful sweet and warm cozy scent that definitely does not come across as cheap.

Fig - Naturally Beautiful
Yes, I recently had the pleasure of testing three fragrances from this wonderful series and I am very excited.
First of all, we are talking about 100 ml EdP at a price that made me think they had forgotten to put a one in front of the number.

These Les Senteurs Gourmandes fragrances are neither synthetic nor cheap-looking, but very high-quality and elegant. Perhaps not outstanding with many facets, but highly recommended and suitable for all occasions.

Figue Sauvage starts off fresh, but this freshness doesn’t last long. Then the fig appears, very natural, not too sweet for me, and the violets remain in the background, so it is indeed a bit different from what is described further down.

I always wait for that creamy almond note, but unfortunately, it doesn’t come. For me, therefore, it’s not a gourmand fragrance. Nevertheless, the fig remains recognizable for a long time, it also becomes warmer and slightly woody. However, a vanilla and sweet note does not develop for me.

The fragrance does not undergo significant development; I like it very much, it’s very interesting and something different. Anyone who likes fig should definitely test this one.
The longevity is also fine, and this fragrance is truly worth getting to know.

Delicate and wonderful!
I am relatively enthusiastic. Because I am actually not a fan of fragrances that focus on fruits. "Figue Sauvage" would have never made it to my collection if a generous perfume sample hadn't been included in a recent swap package.

Fig? What do figs even smell like? Aren't they mainly known from Arabic desserts and pastries that are just incredibly sweet? And then there's that grainy texture ... Not necessary.

However, the fig apparently has the potential to be a delicious scent with a harmonious balance of sweetness and acidity. Do you know Swabian ribisel cake? Just like that! Meanwhile, "Figue Sauvage" is gourmand in a very unobtrusive way. When I wear "Vanitas," I can't eat a herring sandwich for all my love. But "Figue Sauvage" brings so much freshness, bitterness, and woodiness that it doesn't bother me in the slightest when enjoying real food. A few days ago, I wore it at an Indian restaurant through appetizers, main course, and dessert - so I know what I'm talking about.

This is now a prosaic comment on a simple yet very good and pleasant fragrance that will surely be part of my collection sooner or later. Now "Les Senteurs Gourmandes" has managed to convince me after all!

Fig with Gourmand Note!
Another perfume from this beautiful Les Senteur Gourmandes line that I like.
It feels harmonizing and relaxing to me.
Figue Sauvage has an overall bouquet that reminds me of a gourmand scent, as it features almonds, fig, sweet violet, and in the base wonderfully fragrant vanilla, which develop this scent character.
Upon first application, I perceive a blend of fig, violet, and a bit of sugared, roasted almond, which reminds me of a visit to a Christmas market.
Pretty quickly, a larger splash of vanilla comes in, but it is not Bourbon vanilla; I think of the pulp of the vanilla.
It's strange, actually, that almond is not mentioned here, as it is clearly perceptible to me, at least I notice it. But everyone may perceive different notes, some not at all.
So for those who love gourmand scents, there is a whole series here that is worth sampling, or perhaps even purchasing :)

Worth testing!

I have samples of almost all LSG fragrances and to keep it short: plastic. They are absolutely not for me. Definitely don’t buy blind.

When the fig ripens, it doesn't get moldy but beautiful! But it takes time: heavy, ripe fruits.

A very creamy-gourmand fig, paired with vanilla. Warm and delicious. Unfortunately a bit too synthetic. Still a nice scent.

Pleasantly fruity unripe figs on many fig leaves, the violets are only hinted at beneath the pile of leaves, vanilla gently rounds it off.

I really don't like this fig, it feels very artificial. Sweet, fruity gourmand with a strong synthetic note.

Green? Not necessarily.. Sweet? Oh yes, not cloyingly sweet (Powder/Marzipan).. Fresh? Only if you run fast enough!
Cozy + lifts your spirits!

I just rated it relatively poorly because I don't see much artistry in it, drugstore scent, but I have it and love it and stand by that ;)
