Dried Fruit Vanilla Candy
I have now tested a few Les Senteurs fragrances and I must say, none of them have impressed me so far. I haven't experienced any bad scents, but each fragrance was boring, quite insignificant, and simply not worth mentioning.

Whether Vanilla Apricot can change that and offer a more pleasant scent, we will see shortly, or rather, you will read it shortly while I have to hold my nose out for you for the scent :D

The scent:
The fragrance basically starts with all the listed notes at once. When you sniff the scent, you smell vanilla. Sniff again, and suddenly it smells of the fresher citrus fruits. And with another sniff, you can perceive the apricot. Then all the notes blend back into a whole, but the main note here is, as always, the vanilla, with the apricot in the background. The citrus fruits fade away too quickly.
Now and then, you get a feeling as if you were chewing on a fruit candy with yogurt filling, as it occasionally smells like that.
The sweet notes smell a bit synthetic, the apricot gradually turns into a dried fruit, and the scent overall just smells nice, but nothing more. A little later, it almost becomes a pure vanilla scent, as all the other notes recede into the background.

The sillage:
The sillage is above average. It will be pleasant to smell, as the projection does not weaken quickly.
The longevity is quite good at just under ten hours. It probably lasts even longer.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and clear. The fragrance liquid is yellow. There is a square label on the bottle with the name of the fragrance on it. The brand is printed on the bottle above the label. The cap is also cylindrical and black. All in all, it's a bit simple, but okay.

Well,… unfortunately, I have to inform you that the scent is only "nice," but simply has nothing special to offer. It mainly smells of vanilla, which might please vanilla lovers, although now and then a slight synthetic sweetness rises from the fragrance. Additionally, at the beginning, it briefly smells of gummy candies, which could be due to the fruity apricot.

Otherwise, the fragrance is not particularly heavy, but it’s not very light either, so I would describe it as an all-rounder that can be worn at any time (well, now at a devilish 50° Celsius, it is indeed too heavy here…). It is best suited as a daytime and leisure fragrance, as it is a tad too weak and somewhat too unremarkable for going out.

Vanilla enthusiasts might want to take a look, while everyone else doesn’t need to sacrifice an arm or wrist for it, so just for a test, of course :D

Sugared Dried Apricots
~ Inspiration ~
I came across "Vanille Abricot" by the brand Les Senteurs Gourmandes through a sample swap.

~ Bottle ~
The simple glass bottle contains a gold-yellow liquid that fits well with the announced vanilla-apricot scent. The label features a vanilla flower with two black pods depicted.

~ Fragrance ~
Sugared apricots create the gummy bear character of this perfume. Vanilla adds a slight creaminess, while citrus fruits resonate in the background.

~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts about 4 hours (not much longer on hair and clothing). A few sprays are sufficient; otherwise, it becomes too synthetic and artificial for me.

~ Occasion ~
A summery, light gourmand that fits well into the mild days of spring, summer, and autumn (also suitable for the office). I don't perceive it as a unisex fragrance - it's too sugary-sweet for that....

~ Conclusion ~
It reminds me of dried apricots or apricot jam. If there were apricot rings (like apple or peach rings), they would probably smell like this :D

Apricot Tea
I love fruit teas in autumn and winter, and even in spring when it's uncomfortable. In summer, I rarely crave them, but in the months with "R," I usually have a few cups a day. Drinking is known to be healthy. I also enjoy those winter blends with vanilla - right now, there's a steaming cup of fruit tea with plum, vanilla, and a bit of cinnamon in front of me. Ah...

What does this have to do with "Les Senteurs Gourmandes - Vanille Abricot"? Well, quite a lot. It smells like a bright apricot fruit tea. Messmer has one with peach-apricot, and that's exactly what it reminds me of. Only this scent also has vanilla in it.

Vanille-Abricot starts with plenty of ripe, juicy, and sweet citrus fruits. No sour lemons, nor spicy kumquats. More in the rough direction of oranges and mandarins. And especially together with the apricots, which certainly do not wait until the heart note to make an appearance. However, the sweet, ripe, juicy, and incredibly delicious apricots have more staying power; the citrus fruits quickly retreat.

The apricots don't stay alone for long; soon a delicious, sweet, and fluffy vanilla joins in. The scent then reminds me of a delicate, irresistible dessert. What remains is the vanilla, which develops from sweet into a slightly (!) smoky base. Not overtly smoky, but somehow more mature than at the beginning.

I could also imagine this scent beautifully for teenagers, even though it absolutely doesn't come across as girly. Rather innocent and sweet. Therefore, definitely more a scent for young girls than for precocious Lolitas. ;-) Nevertheless, it can also be worn by adult women if it suits their type. Not for vamps - but well-suited for natural women. For me, one of the few (gourmand) scents that are wearable year-round, except when it's over 30°C. Or during wasp season... ;-) The longevity is not bad for a rather light scent: You smell incredibly delicious for about 4-5 hours.

Synthetic, soapy, and nasty! It smells fruity like apricot with a hint of vanilla, but unfortunately like cheap deodorant. Headache alert!

The first few minutes are beautiful. Apricot and vanilla, a great combination. But shortly after, it becomes monotonous and boring.

The scent reminds me of the flavors of an apricot iced tea from a Tetra Pak. It's okay for everyday use.

Nice, fleeting top note, then plastic vanilla with Maoam lemon and peach gum in a squeaky sweet monotony.

A cheerful summer vanilla with sweet apricot. I see it more on young women, but I find it quite appealing.

First synthetic fruity, then comes a gourmand-sweet, but also one-dimensional apricot-vanilla combination. Too boring as a perfume.

At first, there's a strong impression of dried apricots, then vanilla takes over. A nice late-summer casual scent.
