An aromatic breeze
First of all, my bottle is angular and elongated with a dark orange glass, as you know it from the Loewe Solo. So not as pictured here on Parfumo.
The Solo Mercurio fragrance opens quite spicy with a good splash of orangey, citrusy synthetics. Mandarin and orange blossom accompanied by various spices.
Quite a lot going on at the beginning, which might not appeal to everyone.
But then a fresh, masculine note is added, which speaks in favor of the lavender. However, the spicy note remains throughout, with cardamom setting the tone. In my opinion, you can also smell the liquorice.
Later on, sweet and woody nuances are added, hinting at the honey and tobacco, paired with a hint of amber and musk.
Sillage quite strong at the beginning, but then subsides relatively quickly. Longevity is average, not outstanding but not bad either.
In my opinion, a good men's fragrance for leisure activities. With its aromatic-spicy character, it fits perfectly in the spring, as well as in the orange fall and the golden late summer days.
