On the Beach Louis Vuitton 2021

When it comes to Louis Vuitton, this is my eternal love. A natural citrus blast, but not a smell that you can easily identify (like lemon or orange). It’s original. Some shy woods, but nothing that you can smell on every corner. So fresh and cooling, but still elegant. It is the kind of smell that is uplifting and that you never get tired of - stunningly natural. The big misconception is that this smells like the beach. It does not! No aquatic notes, not even a bit, and it smells just as much like sand like a fougère fragrance smells like fern. But again, it is the perfect companion for a day at the beach. No sweet coconut stuff, but a unique sporty-elegant companion. Longevity and sillage are decent. This is a 10/10 for me.

This is a really beautiful posh scent, reminds me a lot of some tom ford’s blue collection, they share the same dna.

The smell is very elegant, classy, likeable… and yeah, the performance is absolutely poor.

Anyways, in summer, you can gently apply like 10 sprays around your shirt and it would probably work better. The scent is very great, like lemony and citrousy with a very summerish background, and smells like a rich girl/man.

Now honestly, would i spend 240€ for this?
Never! That’s a veeeery expensive price for what it offers. I mean… i can buy a Diptyque and a L’Artisan with the same price :-)

And before this i would rather buy a Tom Ford’s blue one.

The opening is where this one really shines. Very bright yuzu with a clean neroli. Summer enters your nose and takes you back to as the name suggests a beach. There’s that wateryness that we know and love from LV combined with spices that feel rather green and fresh instead of sharp en peppery.
There’s a slight realistic bitterness to the yuzu. Personally I love that. For some people it may be of putting.
In the drydown the watery yuzu disappears and it makes room for a dry herbal as they call it “sand” note.
It’s not necessarily sand because who even knows what sand smells like but it’s more like the dry wooden planks you walk on after a day at the beach. This really captures the beachy dna from start to finish.

In my opinion very underrated summer scent from the house and often overshadowed by the big boys (pacifc chill, afternoon swim)

Worth a try definitely!

Performance isn’t mind blowing but acceptable. Silage is great for me but really depends on your skin type.
Price is really high as expected from lv.

8.5 beauty for summer.

I dont really know what it is with this very perfume: I really really like it but don't know why. Its not the most special scent, its citrusy (due to the Yuzu I assume) yet smells a bit like sunscreen. Longevity is, at least on my skin, rather strong despite all the complaints about longevity. Easily lasted 6+ hrs. On the beach to me is #3 of my most fav LV scents after Afternoon Swim and Imagination and ranks above L'immensite and Pacific Chill for me. Very easy to wear and super daily but certainly overprices for what it is

Gorgeous scent, beautiful tart, citrusy opening, courtesy of the japanese Yuzu. I was absolutely struck by how, as soon as the opening fades, this fragrance starts to smell like saltwater on skin. It smells EXACTLY like a beach walk would smell like. Beautiful sea notes, with a touch of aromatic bliss. Most people say it leans a bit feminine, I say that this one’s perfectly unisex, maybe the most unisex out of the cologne collection. However, the price is totally unjustified. 300€ is definitely too expensive for what this fragrance brings to the table, but this is a problem that all Louis Vuitton fragrances share. Another downside to this fragrance is that it easily becomes a skin scent, but a nice one at that. Being a summer and citrus-heavy fragrance, it does not last long, maybe 3-5h tops, but that is to be expected from citrus notes. I don’t see this one getting much love, definitely a better summer fragrance than something like Sun Song or Imagination, and hugely underrated.
