The softness of Amber.

I was really surprised from Ambre Chromatique.
If you are interested to try this magical alchemy combination please take more than hour and observe the first and second step of this parfume. This is really how I can feel the fragrance: 2 times, both lovely.
Amber Chromatique open with a peaceful incense and some fresh notes -the king Bisch of Akilagwood and Elemi bit another success- and even in this case he does the magic: 15 minutes after Parfum follows and embrace your spirit and soul: a really soft Osmanthus compare and dance with ambroxan.
Vanilla is just at the end of the tour, just a little, to give the taste that your are in the right place at the right moment.
Soft, warm, elegant.
Sillage is amazing
Duration more than 8 hours on my skin

Spicy/creamy. Great combination! Underrated

I tested the Ambre Chromatique today, where I was particularly excited by the interesting fragrance notes. And I was not disappointed!

The fragrance starts with a full load of incense. A great spicy and balsamic note develops and a certain familiar scent is noticeable. I can't categorize it exactly, but that makes it even more interesting.
The spicy pepper is also easy to smell and combines well with the incense.

Osmanthus is also a big player in the fragrance, exuding a sweet scent and perfectly summarizing the opening together with the incense and pepper.

A few hours later, davana is added as a floral note, but I don't see it as the main component of the fragrance, but rather as a soft aftertaste.

However, as the name suggests, the amber is very present in the base and is sweet and creamy. Together with the vanilla, it harmonizes perfectly and ensures that the fragrance ends super softly.
Some earthy notes also appear, but they are rather restrained and do not play such a major role.

As the first of the Maison Crivelli's, this fragrance makes a great start and leaves me wanting more. You should definitely try this combination of interesting notes.

A different enough take on an Amber

I was lucky enough to hear from Thibaud himself (who also speaks Portuguese, and 6 other languages ) a wonderful explanation and journey through his creation process and inspiration behind each Maison Crivelli scent.

To me, one of the most interesting collections out there in recent times.
And Ambre ChromatiQue is no exception!

What a beautiful Amber this is. In fact, one of the best I’ve tried so far!

This is a warm, radiant and powerful amber.
It manages to be soft and cozy yet bold and present.

Opens up very spicy and dry with pink pepper and a lot of incense, which almost has a vegetal touch almost leaning towards Labdanum. A wonderful incense it is.

The drydown is much softer in texture. Almost feels like your skin on steroids.

This has a boozy Rum-like nuance from the Davana and peachy impression from Osmanthus.

The base is ultra smooth with Bourbon Vanilla - which almost has in this an olive facet (I know, I know) - and the amber accords playing the major role.

I had the pleasure to experience the isolated raw materials by themselves with Thibaud, and you can really tell has it all and then some.

Oh and as for the performance: this has to be scrubbed off a couple times - I can still smell it almost 24h later now.
