Strong Laundry Detergent Scent

This is an in your face fragrance as soon as you spritz. The longevity is through the roof. It's a good smell, but it's got a lot of issues in my opinion. It's like a bomb of fragrance where all the notes mix together and it's hard to pinpoint any one note. I get the bright citrus blast, a little peach and then it's just florals on me. The sweetness of the fruits disappears within minutes. It also smells synthetic and I kept trying to figure out what it reminded me of and then I thought of the scent beads you add in the dryer to add long-lasting fragrance to the laundry - that's what it reminds me of. It's powerful and if over sprayed could be headache-inducing. Luckily I just sprayed once on my wrist, but it lasted over 12 hours

Day of the Vanilletacle

"Jardin Exclusif" by Mancera unfortunately doesn't manage to get its irrepressible vanilla under control...

Yet the vanilla here doesn't seem too cheap or sticky. It is definitely high-quality and elegant (in its base/well-dosed). And yet I tire of it incredibly quickly and it overshadows too much. Add to that Montale's usual hairspray aesthetic plus another "Erba Pura" memorial day and a sweet treat per excellence, and this exclusive garden leaves me with mixed feelings at best. The green apple catches its sunny moments and saves the fragrance from (m)any tears. But the rest is a vanilla overcupcake of migraine death. Vanilla done wrong for me.
