A Beginner’s Cherry Dream That’s Not for Me

Opening :-
Candied black cherries up top, like opening a pack of cherry Jolly Ranchers. Bright citruses like lemon and bergamot add sparkle, while vanilla from the base starts peeking early, boosting the sweetness even more.

Mid :-
Heliotrope takes the spotlight, bringing that almond-powder vibe Mancera does so well (think Aoud Lemon Mint). Orris root and iris add a soft, dusty quality. Jasmine is subtle but adds a gentle floral lift to the heart.

Dry Down :-
The fruity opening and almond-powder mid rest beautifully on a base of soft musk and vanilla. The musks used here are skin-hugging and creamy, not screechy. Very cozy, very wearable… but a bit too pretty for my personal style.

Real-Life Test :-
Asked a couple of my guy friends to try this on. None of them are into fragrances. Their verdict?
“It’s nice... but kinda girly.”

Final Thoughts :-
There are thousands of perfumes released every year. Just because this didn’t vibe with me doesn’t mean it won’t become your signature scent.
It’s sweet, sensual, and honestly a great cherry-forward option for those dipping their toes into niche. For the price, a solid beginner pick.

Less cherry than the name suggests

Now I am dedicating more than just a statement to this fragrance, because I think it is somewhat underrated.

Calling a fragrance "Cherry Cherry" naturally raises expectations and not exactly low ones. I was expecting a concentrated load of cherries that would be present throughout the entire fragrance.
But what do you get?
The opening is definitely dominated by the very sweet cherry, which comes across as somewhat synthetic - lollipop-like, but not unpleasant. Lemon and bergamot add fruitiness and freshness.
After a few minutes, the lemon and bergamot are replaced by a floral, herbal candy-like spiciness, but the cherry remains.
The drydown is pleasantly warm, soft and clean thanks to musk and vanilla.
In between, I think I can detect liquorice or star anise from time to time, even if these are not listed.

I can understand that opinions are divided on this fragrance, as it is special and niche.
At the beginning, it reminded me a little of Electric Cherry, which is not particularly popular either, but which I also like (but the price and durability are really bottomless).

I wouldn't pay the RRP for it, but if I ever find it somewhere for little money, I'll buy it.

Sparkling light cherry

Thanks to a nice perfumer, I was able to receive and test the fragrance in a sharing.
For me, the fragrance is definitely a tangy, bright cherry. It reminds me of the little cherry lollipops with the green stem from my childhood. Cherry fragrances are still relatively new to me, but I would describe this one as a little synthetic, which doesn't mean anything negative for me though.

I really like the cherry scent with bergamot frizz and find it wonderfully mood-lifting, especially now in the fall:)
Worth a try!

A disappointment/ no cherry at all

Puch... unfortunately the perfume is a disappointment.
I was expecting a variation on wet cherry liqueur or cherry punk or ultimately Lost cherry, unfortunately this perfume has nothing to do with them.
Penetrating, artificial smell, very floral, but not "good" floral, rather billing, flat. The first association with an old lady who doesn't wear complementary fragrances. You don't hear any "aristocratic" notes.
Cherry is really just the name. I don't hear any cherry notes, not even light cherry blossoms, nothing at all.
I applied the perfume a few hours ago, it still lasts and smells very strong. As far as longevity goes, it's definitely manageable.
If you still want to try the perfume, make sure you order a small sample beforehand, don't spend money on the whole bottle.
