Interesting but not wearable
A great duel between grapefruit and blackcurrant leaf! They are constantly fighting with each other) If you like something bitter and sour with fresh notes, then you might fall in love with this perfume) Personally, I don't, it's a bit too boring and simple for me, I prefer to use these ingredients for cakes or in salads )))

Never have I smelled such an exalted beautiful blackcurrant....
...as in this Micallef. It should be noted that I generally prefer to eat fruits rather than have them as a fragrance on my skin, so I simply let myself be surprised; however, my expectations were already at a certain level, as I know Micallef as a brand that rarely produces and releases olfactory rubbish. For example, I love Gijac and wear it almost daily in winter. Now back to Puzzle No. 2....at the beginning, I was literally overwhelmed by a whole basket full of ripe, sweet fruits; unfortunately, I couldn't catch the grapefruit, which I find disappointing since I love it, but instead, there was a wave of brilliant blackcurrants...ripe, sensual, full of juice and power. You close your eyes and can almost taste it on your tongue, a bit tart, a bit sweet-sour, and wonderfully fruity. I believe I've never perceived such a fruity-balsamic note at the start of a perfume. Great and at the same time unusual. Over time, a hint of vanilla joins in; jasmine doesn't reveal itself to me, but I don't regret that since I'm not a jasmine fan. The more I linger on my wrist and ponder what I perceive in detail, the more I realize that this fragrance gains depth and spiciness. The sweetness recedes into the background, making way for a slightly tart spicy freshness, skillfully done and above all just beautiful! It is close to the skin, the sillage is limited....it's a fragrance that one should rather wear in the evening for going out, regardless of whether man or woman; I think it could suit both. Slowly, the cashmere wood, which I love, caresses my olfactory bulb, and a fine mixture of patchouli, musk, and vetiver lingers quite close to me for a long time....I think of a cozy open fireplace, a cuddly blanket around my shoulders, the crackling of the fire filling the room...lying alone on the couch with a good glass of red wine and simply enjoying life.....and this brilliant winter fragrance!

Russian Bread Puzzle
Puzzle??
An interesting name for a fragrance, right? But it is actually quite justified. No, this time I'm not telling you anything from a comic or anything like that, in case someone might have thought of the villain Riddler (from Batman), … although I might be the only one who thought of him *sigh* And yet I just mentioned something about comics, aaaaargh!!!

No, when you buy this fragrance, you actually get an empty bottle and a lot of vials with different scent contents, where you have to mix the right fragrance yourself, like a puzzle... If you mess it up, you'll have to buy everything new! … Hmm, you don't believe me, do you? … :D

Anyway, here comes the scent description!

The scent:
The fragrance starts with slightly sweet and powdery currants, which briefly remind me of fruity chewing gum. I can hardly make out the grapefruit; there is a bit of citrus in the background, but you can't really smell much of the citrus fruit.
The currants linger for a while, and the scent becomes increasingly sweeter. You might perceive roses, but with these flowers, it's like with the grapefruit in the top note, more fragrant from the background and not immediately recognizable.
Later, I still smell the currants; the scent remains slightly powdery, but the sweetness becomes a bit "darker," as you can clearly smell the musk in the base. There's also a hint of earthy patchouli, which pairs well with the musk. Towards the end, the fragrance becomes spicy and woody.

The sillage and longevity:
The sillage is above average, even though the fragrance starts off a bit strong. Shortly after spraying, it becomes "normal," meaning you can perceive it from close range for a while.
The longevity is quite okay; the fragrance lasted about eight hours on me, which is… well, quite okay :D

The bottle:
The bottle is quite nicely designed. It is rectangular with a thick glass bottom. On the front, next to the name, there is a large image of a puzzle piece that looks like delicious Russian bread due to its color and design (yummy yummy :D). The cap is simpler, cylindrical, and black.

Well, the puzzle hasn't exactly become a riddle, but it doesn't smell bad. Okay, it's not particularly outstanding where you would say "wow," but it is still nice, although I don't really like the later base as much. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bit weak, so it isn't suitable for going out or anything like that, but finds its place in the category of "ordinary daytime fragrances."

Hmm… when can you use this fragrance? The diagram indicates summer on one hand and autumn on the other. Yes, that seems right, although I would rather say spring and autumn, as it might be a bit less suitable for summer.

Oh, and even though the fragrance seems feminine at first, I believe it becomes unisex later on.

As I said, the fragrance is okay, but nothing special. … The Riddler wouldn't be very impressed… and yes! I like comics, what's wrong with that, huh? :DD
