Nice girl, nice days
Hey. This was blind buy. It was in my wish list for a while. Fast decision then buy. Didnt try because no tester there. Didnt disappoint. Smell will remind you some Avon floral scents. At least it reminded me in my first try day. How can I describe the perfume? Totally a ''nice girl'' She is happy, smiley, optimistic, positive, brings joy to her friends, helpful, cheerfull. Scent profile= Fruity, floral bit sweet. Sweet effect is coming from mostly pear, blackcurrant, vanilla. Opens with sweet joyful fruits then settles down fruity floral accord. The florals= Mostly jasmine, ylang ylang and mimosa. I think for that profile price is very expensive to me. For Micallef I would wait more ''complex, long lasting'' thing. Overall; I like it. Its nice. Florals and fruit combination. Not good at sillage.

A Lady and Not at all a Vamp!
"Ananda" is a Sanskrit word and means: The absence of misfortune.
The Pyramide of "Ananda" is not promising to much. It is starting with a pleasent creamy-fruity note. The fruitiness is going to become more intensiv with a dainty whiff of lemon. The violet roots are going to change "Ananda" even more tender. Then "Ananda" seems to become caressed by a very brillant flower mixture, guidet by jasmine, ylang-ylang smoothed by rose and several not listed flowers, superb indeed. I dare say that, because I'm often disgusted by the so-called white-flowers. At this point of developement the tangy, woody and peculiar blossom scent of the mimosa ist appearing on the stage to accomplish the play of "Ananda". Mimosa here for me is scenting very genuine like I smelled it many years ago the whole march I spent in Florence. The scent then was everywhere in busses, public rooms, on streets, all women seemed to be perfumed with mimosa. Mimosa is giving "Ananda" a more dense matrix . Without the tangy and dark-green mimosa "Ananda" would remain as a light and playful flower-fruit mixture. The flower mixture is going to get even softer and more delicate and yet there is still a light-green fruit-mixture. And now I am perceiving quite clearly the rose. Furthermore "Ananda" is staying all the time the same, all listed ingredients are on its fragrance stage.
"Ananda" has a very good longevity, the light sillage seems always to stay close to the skin and body. "Ananda" is not at all obstrusive. It's a noble and perfect perfume, feminine, capable to give women the aura of a lady, but...for me there is missing something, I suppose a resinous or/and a woody note, something animal-like,,."Ananda" is a lady and not a vamp!

Fresh mimosa shampoo
Before I tried the original Ananda, I already had a bottle of Ananda Dolce. I became curious for the pillar because I love that peachy sweet flanker so much.
Ananda EDP is nice, too, and I definitely see them as related. Both have a lovely clean shampoo-vibe that feels transparent and sweet at the same time, very suitable for the warmer seasons. Of course they don't literally smell like any shampoo I know of, they're more refined than that, they just have that pretty, well-groomed "freshly washed hair" vibe.

I still like Ananda Dolce a bit more than Ananda. In Ananda Dolce, the sweeter notes balance out the cleanliness and make it rounder. Ananda starts out with a lovely juicy pear note, but quickly turns more floral. Mimosa is very prominent here, and I personally often find mimosa a bit too sharp and cold. I can also sense some other florals like a watery violet and a touch of rose, but mimosa is the main star. There is some warmth, hidden deep in the base of the fragrance, a soft blend of vanilla and white musk. In the end though, the overall impression is a tad sharp for my taste.

I think how much you like this is very dependent on your opinion about mimosa. If you love this flower, and you also enjoy shampoo-fresh scents, Ananda might be just your jam.

Dove soap type fragrance
It smells mostly like creamy Dove soap with mimosa and indistinct floral notes. The fruity notes are also not so clear to smell. It is a noble, quite polite fragrance, which could not disturb anyone. It suits a flight attendant for example.

Yeahaha... At the beginning, over and over again and at the base even more so...
Now I have "tried my way" through the Micaleff fragrances in the last few days... I had Ananda on it a few days ago. A rerun today. The scent is a treasure trove for me. He's flattering my nose throughout. He is a pleasing and tasty fellow, convinces and draws attention to himself without killing. In any case, this is a very feminine composition, which personally inspires me again, especially "against later". All the time I smell flowers, well balanced with fruity notes. The base warms my heart, has exactly the right dose of sweetness that a farewell needs, so that one can look forward to a new encounter. I will buy it because it is suitable for both day and evening. But above all, it's easy for me, even in my own four walls, just a cuddly scent.

The juiciest fruity fragrance I've ever tried. The pear note stays strong the whole duration. Sweet and long lasting.
