Cool scent of incense from autumnal, woody depths
As if I were going with the current season, I had just bought this beautiful but underrated fragrance! And "fresh" it is too and fits well into the fall. Cool due to very specific citrus-infused smoke. Frankincense, myrrh, mysterious like November mist in the early morning. The fine droplets glisten silver on the grass, leaves and tree branches. Delicate cobwebs between blades of grass shine like tiny diamonds.
The forest exhales its woody, resinous scents. It is almost windless and very quiet. Only your own footsteps and the occasional soft cracking of twigs can be heard. Only the fragrances of wood, earth and these "magical" resins and smoke are not silent. They envelop you with autumn colors. Colorful, damp leaves, conifer resins, forest soil, damp fog.
"Does fog have a smell?" you might ask. To which I would answer YES. It collects scents from its surroundings and slowly releases them again. And in the autumnal depths of an "enchanted forest", a wonderfully wondrous and comforting mixture is created ;-))
