I'm so in love
The perfume goes under Watch or Time for Love. No matter, it is a remarkable perfume and worth every penny. Actually it is very subtle but tenaciously long lasting. Easy on the trigger, please, or you will suffocate under a sweet spell. The sweetness is leaving rather soon and an incredibly soft aura remains. The tiniest amount sprayed will be noticed by your nose all day long, so I preferred to spray on the back.

I know straight away whether I like a perfume or not, and this one is waving "buy me, buy me". But with the generous decant of a fellow member, we shall see.

M. Micallef's scents tend to be opulent and come in beautifully crafted bottles. Really the perfume is then a collector's item of great luxury and I believe that this is planned.

The notes are as listed in the perfume profile and none of those stands out. Rather this perfume has a "soft cloud" quality. Subtle from morning to night. The next morning, still a unchanged aura remains and that is the mark of a great perfume.

The sillage can be loud if you overspray which I don't do. Wisely applied, a lingering subtle, very feminine aura is the pleasant companion.

That's it. Another gem of the niche world.

It’s growing in me.
I had a high expectation over this fragrance despite of my love-hate relationship with tuberouse.
Upon the first spray a sharp opening of tuberouse and loads of other flowery notes hit my olfactory senses. Let’s give it another minute, I reminded myself.
As the time went by the sharpness softened up, bit by bit, until it left me with almost creamy tuberouse-vanilla which I must dare say, quite intoxicating.

Maybe tuberouse isn’t that bad after all...

This traumatised me
No fucking joke, this perfume made me cry cuz it's so horrible. I hate it, all my friends hate it too I've never met someone actually liking it. It gives headaches and obviously lasts FOR EVERRR and projects like a tsunami of dreadful compost juice.
As a cruel joke I hid it in my friend's house WITH its cap on and they were still able to locate it in MINUTES.
This made me hate jasmin so much I had to burn the Disney movie. For real I actually had to re-acclimate my nose to jasmin because it traumatised my poor nervous system that gave me headaches and gagged me every time I smelt jasmin for 2 years.
I wore this blindly and honestly it was the last perfume I ever put on myself without testing it thoroughly because of it. I wore this and couldn't get out of this for 10 hours I literally cried coming home and it gave me an anxiety attack.
I wish I invented all this but I lived this and am now scarred for life and I wear horrible scents such as toskovat's one and like it.
This perfume is for the anosmic hermits that just want to keep people away, though I believe it is so strong that I could bring the dead back to life just so they could tell you how much it stinks and how Satan brought them there because it is worse than hell has ever been

My 1st Niche and the Great Love?
"Time for Love" is its name, and the saleswoman at KaDeWe in Berlin sprays the fragrance onto a paper strip.

It has been 5 years since I visited my father, who lives in Berlin. I had long been a regular customer at Douglas and Co., always on the lookout for new treasures. My mission for the Berlin visit was to buy something at KaDeWe that isn't available in our small town. I thought a perfume would be nice; would I find something extraordinary...? Anyone who has ever been in this department store's beauty section can imagine what I am trying to describe.

I walk past the many friendly staff in black, through the renowned brand stands of the cosmetics department. Already, it smells like more, and I stop in amazement in front of a large column, covered in glittering stones up to the ceiling, with beautiful bottles standing in front, shimmering and sparkling in competition; yes, this must be it, my new fragrance.

A lady approaches me and asks if she can help. I said yes, I hope you can assist me; I am looking for an extraordinary scent.

You are exactly in the right place, as this company is called MICALLEF. M. Micallef is a small French perfume house from Grasse, the city of fragrances.
Wow, I thought, that sounds like a movie, and I asked her to spray a few for me. Done.

"Time for Love" was immediately my big favorite; the scent was different from anything I had known before. If someone had told me back then that this was the beginning of a great love, I would not have believed it.
I could quickly rule out all the other tested perfumes, and so this wonderful scent conquered my heart and had to come with me.

All day long, I sniffed at my wrist and felt very feminine. I had discovered something truly special! I felt like a princess...!

Somehow, this perfume transports me to another world, making me laugh and shine. The fruity notes in the top notes quickly play together with the delicate jasmine and the strong tuberose. Yet, nothing unpleasant comes to the forefront, and everything is harmoniously captured by the musk and vanilla.

I have now been a member of this wonderful forum for almost 2 years and have waited a long time to comment on the most important fragrance for me. Out of fear of not finding the right words.

How does one describe their great love? I love this scent, I love the bottle, I love the color, I love Micallef for giving me this experience.
At this point, I would also like to thank Claudia Micallef, who did not turn me away during a spontaneous visit in Grasse but kindly and warmly showed me her company and production site. The most beautiful thing that has happened to me in my love for perfume.
I was guided through the sacred spaces, and I must tell you, everything is very private; each bottle is hand-decorated by a few ladies and lovingly filled and packaged by a few gentlemen.

"Time for Love" has been number 1 in my large collection from the very beginning, which I now possess. It may carry and support me, accompany me, and be one with me, forever and ever.

Liquid Silk!
First, a big shout-out to Florblanca for this fragrance. Wow, I'm the first one to write a comment. Well then, here we go.
It's a pity there's no picture above. Watch has a round bottle, like many Micallef's, with a watch in the middle. Why and how, is beyond my knowledge.
Watch is currently watching my right arm. Or is it observing it? It has full control over both him and me. When I first applied Watch a few days ago, I thought, "Wow, this is sweet!" Not quite right! A little tip for new commenters on Parfumo: "Always let fragrances mature before writing a comment!" Haha.
Yep, Watch starts sweet, and for this opening, it would almost be a "no way" candidate. Please wait 5 minutes. Then liquid silk flows down the body. Laced with fruits, vanilla, and delicate flowers. Every time I wear Watch, I feel like I've fallen into a tub full of a thousand beautiful creams.
I really struggled with myself. Do I always have to wear gooseberry scents or soap or chypre or heavy hitters? This one reveals a warm, feminine side. Yet it remains consistently creamy, warm, and cozy down to the base, not a heavy hitter, but very present; not everyone wears a scent like this.
I'm rummaging through my memory. Maybe it conjures up sides that were buried?

I'm a big tuberose fan, but this one is so strong and sweetened with plum that I feel overwhelmed.
