Fresh Montale
Santal Wood is a fresh/aquatic Montale. Not woody.
Opens with a huge blast of juniper berries and a marine note which is salty.
Dries down to a light sandalwood base which remains for quite a good amount of time.
Actually i find this fragrance very subtle if compared to other Montale releases.
Sillage and projection are medium. Lasting power is about 6/7 hours in my skin.
Do not expect anything heavy or woody, but a subtle, fresh scent that may be enjoyable for most of people. Unisex.
Also this is really far from being a sandalwood-based fragrance. Its name should be Montale Aquatic Water instead.
