Summer memories
I am a self-confessed lover of the sea. For me, there is nothing in the world that gives me more peace of mind than the sound of the waves gently or powerfully crashing ashore. I can sit there for hours and gaze out to sea. This vastness, this power, the nature, the sounds and the feeling of being just a small grain of sand in the world give me peace and serenity.
I suffer from severe seasickness all year round. The longing for it grows from year to year, and the short weeks a year when I manage to go to the sea are not enough for me. I'm constantly thinking about how I can bring this peace of mind into my home. Because, let's be honest, moving to the sea is not an option, at least not at the moment.
I've already had a lot of fragrances under my nose, some really give you a vacation vibe or are true soul comforters. Monoï & Coco is such a fragrance. It doesn't smell like the sea, but it reminds you of a great time on vacation.
Berdoues has already created such a dream with Vânira Moorea. And Monoï & Coco also transports you to a white sandy beach. The scent of tiare is in the air, gentle coconut notes, sea spray and frangipani nuances shimmer in the sun. Pure summer feeling.
You get that vacation feeling from the very first spray. Sunny, delicate accents of sea spray and coconut (very subtle and restrained) with delicate hesperides and tropical flowers. Musk, sandalwood and vanilla delicately round off the fragrance.
However, anyone expecting this fragrance to be as strong and intense as Vânira Moorea will be disappointed. Monoï & Coco is like a gentle melody. Much more discreet and calm, more delicately spun and therefore much more pleasing and always wearable. Personally, I particularly like this aspect of it. When it's hot, I don't want to smell intense florals, I don't think that's particularly compatible.
Monoi & Coco is not new and I'm sure you've smelled such a fragrance many times before, but it revives my summer memories and at a very reasonable price.
