Sunscreen

Sunscreen from start to finish.

My husband even asked me if I had put on sunscreen.

I love this brand, but this scent reminds me of the typical old-fashioned sunscreen from my childhood, and not in a positive way.

As someone with allergies, I can at least tolerate this brand well.

What seems so familiar to me here?

When I held my sample in my hands and sprayed it, I immediately thought: this seems so familiar to me.
In the opening, you can perceive the white flowers. Clean, pure, not piercing. I immediately applied my suspicion to the other wrist and let my husband smell it. I said: "these are two different fragrances." He let both scents settle and said: "but they smell very similar."
So it is. At first, the Berdoues scent strongly reminds me of "Jasmins Marzipane | Lancôme." A floral clean scent, almost soapy, but pleasant. As it develops, it becomes creamier and slightly synthetic. I cannot detect any salty notes. The vanilla adds a minimal sweetness. Even in the drydown, it reminds me of the mentioned fragrance. A bit less refined, less soft. But yes, they could be relatives. The previous Berdoues scents did not last very long. However, here the longevity is decent. I can perceive it well for four to five hours. After that, it fades away, but is still close to the skin. It lasts significantly longer on clothing. Great, pleasant scent. Unbeatable price-performance ratio.

Aloha!

Wow... Here I am pleasantly surprised!
With such fragrances, the sultry, tropical flowery notes can quickly go overboard, and "much" is sometimes simply TOO MUCH.

Admittedly, the initial spray is relatively strong on the white flowers, but after just a few seconds, this blend completely merges into a beautiful, floral-creamy scent aura.
None of the white flowers takes over or drifts into musty stagnant water. It remains as crystal clear as the South Sea.
I can't distinctly smell coconut milk and salty notes; in my opinion, they only enhance the South Sea flowers and thus prevent any potential headache factor.
Benzoin keeps it a bit earthier.
As the flowers slightly fade, the vanilla comes into play a bit more at the end, extending the pleasure for quite a while.
I find the longevity to be very good for a cologne (it easily withstands one or two washes on the wrist) and I can perceive the scent on me for several hours.
Sensual summer pleasure. It works unisex as well.

At €31 / 100ml, definitely a great purchase! The bottle with the gradient is a real eye-catcher on the shelf.
Recommended for anyone who is tired of winter :-)
