Golden Moon
A warm vanilla that reminds me more of a vanilla body lotion than a perfume. It has that creamy, clean, musky undertone that you find in many of them. The vanilla itself is bright and sweet, the almond subtly blended in. I like that this has some spices in it, without them it would have been a bit bland. The cardamom is especially noticeable and gives the scent an unique touch.
This doesn't reivent the wheel, it's a very vanilla-forward scent after all - but unlike Dream Moon, Silver Moon doesn't seem to be a dupe of any famous perfume.
It's nice, but a bit too simple for me and maybe a tad too artificial smelling due to the lotion-y musk.
I wonder why they went for this name and packaging. Out of all colors, greyish blue and silver are quite low on the list of things I would associate with this fragrance. Maybe gold, white, light yellow, beige, even a soft pink or some browns... Definitely something warmer!
I bought a Pacifica sample set on my holidays in the USA this spring, so I'm sure tried the version that is in the new bottle. Even though Parfumo lists this as a new perfume at the moment, I'm pretty sure they just added some notes for marketing reasons and a more accurate description and didn't change the scents drastically. All samples I tried smell just like the reviews for the older bottles say.
In this case both lists make sense. The new one is more detailed, but the old one with just vanilla, almond and spices sums it up well enough.
