Now that I know that some Prada fragrances from the Olfactories collection are related to well-known or less well-known songs - just think of Purple Rain, Tainted Love or Marienbad - this fragrance is probably dedicated to the song of the same name from the early 60s by the Motown R´n´B vocal group Martha Reeves & The Vandellas.
It's not my direction, but ok - here geht´s also about the scent. And it's simply fantastic, if not exorbitant. I love it so much because it's an absolutely floral fragrance that I usually have more than my share with, but I'm still very well served here in a positive sense.
The flowers - and I recognize here at least Jasmin, Ylan-Ylang and the night-flowering cactus - come across as pompously sweet, but excellent for my taste. In between, a few splashes of lemon were smuggled in and a light, natural looking vanilla. The whole thing already looks relatively exotic and creamy, but still masculine enough that I could wear it without any problems. That really means something, although I think that women could do something with this heat wave without me having to think about climacteric or something like that.
For winter, but also on warm to humid summer nights, Heat Wave could best live out its potential. Durability and projection are in any case full and will pay enough attention according to the scent.
I like him anyway and would not have thought that I would find such a strong to narcotically flowering scent so likeable. On the other hand, I have to certify that Daniela Andrier did a decent job as usual. Probably she has enough free space in Prada's Olfactories series and can apply her own handwriting wonderfully. My compliment!
