Fuzzy Frangipani and Creamy Jasmine

This is like a creamy, sweet, Honey Custard from the Ylang-Ylang. With a rich thick White Floral centre from the Jasmine on a base of sugar sweet Vanilla. There are also little nuances from the Frangipani that are fuzzy and Peach like. Also reminds me of Gardenia with its dense heady sweet White and Yellow Florals that are creamy and silky smooth. Also has a tickle of fresh green spice maybe from the Ylang-Ylang that that give this a unique sparkle and is lovely when you catch a waft of it when it occasionally surfaces.

Climate Change

Now that I know that some Prada fragrances from the Olfactories collection have a connection to well-known or lesser-known songs - just think of Purple Rain, Tainted Love, or Marienbad - this fragrance is likely dedicated to the song of the same name from the early 60s by the Motown R'n'B singing group Martha Reeves & The Vandellas.

It's not really my style, but okay - this is about the scent. And it is simply fabulous, if not even exorbitant. I rave so much about it because it is an absolutely floral-heavy perfume, which I usually struggle with, but here I am positively well served.

The flowers - and I can at least recognize jasmine, ylang-ylang, and the night-blooming cactus - come across as lushly sweet, but to my taste, they are excellent. In between, a few spritzes of lemon have been cleverly smuggled in along with a light, naturally appearing vanilla. The whole thing feels relatively exotic and creamy, yet still masculine enough that I could wear it without any issues. That really means something, even though I think that women could probably relate to this heat wave more, without me having to think of menopause or something like that.

In winter, but also on warm to sultry summer nights, Heat Wave could best showcase its potential. Longevity and projection are certainly rich and will draw enough attention according to the scent.

I like it anyway and wouldn't have thought that I would find such a strongly narcotic floral scent so likable. On the other hand, I must attest that Daniela Andrier has done a solid job as usual. She probably has enough creative freedom with the Olfactories series from Prada and can wonderfully apply her own signature. My compliments!

Bam, it brings sunshine to the heart

Another Olfactories to fall in love with.
The opening has quite an animalistic note. From my fragrance experience, this should be attributed to Ylang-Ylang. Whether it blooms at night, I have no idea. The opening is also quite lush. However, what emerges after a very short time is pure summer-sun joy, creamy, and it makes my winter blues heart shine. Other flowers are also playing a role, probably honeysuckle, or those bushes by the roadside that bloom at the end of June and whose scent fills the evening air, heralding warm nights. But by now, in terms of sillage, everything is in an average range, so I have no fear of potential headaches.
In any case, I am quickly in a good mood and full of anticipation for summer.
