Charming gummy bears

The title "Prada Paradox intense" is an apt description of the perfume's character.
The fragrance is only right for young ladies, provided they are at least as flirty and tough as the perfume itself. In an overdose, the fragrance quickly becomes too intrusive and cheap, but when worn in such a light and playful way, it is an excellent addition to the appearance of a young, self-confident lady.
You could say that the paradox describes the essence of the elusive and multi-layered woman who wears the perfume. The woman who changes and dares to try new things, but who never stays the same.
In addition to the experimental bottle, I also like the long shelf life, which means the fragrance can really accompany and support me throughout the day.
I affectionately call this fragrance "lucky fragrance" because nothing can go wrong as long as I have this feeling with me. I also associate the fragrance with wonderful moments that will stay with me forever.

The right nose?

My nose usually flutters for gourmand fragrances, but I wanted something fresher for spring. So I tested both Paradox and Paradox intense. Paradox is a floral with subtle citrusy-fruity notes. However, the finish is a mix of floral-woody and something soapy. I didn't like it at all and I immediately knew why!
My way... this perfume is similar to Giorgio Armani's My way, I can't explain it, but as soon as the top note fades, it's there. From here on I wanted to avoid the perfume, but I thought to myself "it can't get any worse", so I immediately went for intense. This fragrance starts off very similarly, but thanks to moss it develops in a more earthy and composed way! This version should have been more of a headliner, because the sillage, durability and fragrance were much better, almost beautiful! It still doesn't smell like anything new, a typical "strong feminine" fragrance. What I find worse is all the hype about it: "It-Girl-Scent", it is a can and not a must perfume! If you think it's great and enjoy it, you should definitely do it. But here you are buying a brand rather than an outstanding fragrance.

Way better than the OG

The bad ratings for this are interesting considering this intense flanker of Paradoxe is better than the OG (subjective), but I guess the notes in this aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t going to bother with this because moss usually doesn’t play well on my skin, but I’m glad I took the leap of faith.

The main difference between PI and the OG Paradoxe is that the original is a very linear, white floral + citrus combo that’s been done over and over again. It’s inoffensive (kinda boring tbh), soapy, slightly sweet, and very bright. This new Intense flanker, on the other hand, has a depth to it that just makes it better and more appealing to me. The moss adds a dark, earthy, bitter bite to a relatively bright and floral fragrance. The increased vanilla in this version is also what appealed to me and mixed in with the amber notes, it’s creates a beautiful base for the neroli and jasmine to sit atop. The dry down of this is spectacular and lasts the longest throughout its wear.

I wore it for the first time yesterday and can attest to the performance being phenomenal. Strong sillage and lasts over well over 8+ hours on the skin (probably even better on clothes). As my collection continues to change, I find myself gravitating to niche fragrances more, but this is an excellent designer flanker that I’m happy to have tried and truthfully enjoy. It’s definitely worth a try.

My favorite for going out

When I sniffed a sample for the first time, I was blown away. I found the fragrance so special and simply enchanting and I still love it. Much more special than the normal Paradoxe.
Fruity, sweet and very powdery after prolonged wear. Used sparingly, it's great during the day and in the evening, with a few sprays more, it's my favorite going-out fragrance.
It sounds strange, but when I drink a glass of red wine, this scent from my wrist comes to my nose and I think this fragrance blend is amazing. You can wear it at any time of year.
I like synthetic, perfumey scents and I hardly ever wear niche fragrances, so maybe that's why I like it so much.
My husband also finds it very sexy.

Oh boy

Oh boy, this took me on a ride. The opening I sort of liked. It was super sweet fruity floral and I did quite like the pear. Then the dry down started and it smelled like straight up dirty pleather. This is why you don't blind buy, kids. What a mess this was. Disappointing because I actually really love the bottle design.
