Way better than the OG
The bad ratings for this are interesting considering this intense flanker of Paradoxe is better than the OG (subjective), but I guess the notes in this aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t going to bother with this because moss usually doesn’t play well on my skin, but I’m glad I took the leap of faith.

The main difference between PI and the OG Paradoxe is that the original is a very linear, white floral + citrus combo that’s been done over and over again. It’s inoffensive (kinda boring tbh), soapy, slightly sweet, and very bright. This new Intense flanker, on the other hand, has a depth to it that just makes it better and more appealing to me. The moss adds a dark, earthy, bitter bite to a relatively bright and floral fragrance. The increased vanilla in this version is also what appealed to me and mixed in with the amber notes, it’s creates a beautiful base for the neroli and jasmine to sit atop. The dry down of this is spectacular and lasts the longest throughout its wear.

I wore it for the first time yesterday and can attest to the performance being phenomenal. Strong sillage and lasts over well over 8+ hours on the skin (probably even better on clothes). As my collection continues to change, I find myself gravitating to niche fragrances more, but this is an excellent designer flanker that I’m happy to have tried and truthfully enjoy. It’s definitely worth a try.

Much improved from the original!
MUCH better than the original due to added depth from earthy notes like moss. This scent lasts incredibly well - I applied it at 3:20pm and the base notes were still on my body when I smelled my wrist at 10am the next day. This fragrance is a matured version of the original, which I found unremarkable. Paradoxe Intense isn't particularly interesting or unique, but it is a likeable, rich scent that I'm sure plenty of people will like.

Oh boy
Oh boy, this took me on a ride. The opening I sort of liked. It was super sweet fruity floral and I did quite like the pear. Then the dry down started and it smelled like straight up dirty pleather. This is why you don't blind buy, kids. What a mess this was. Disappointing because I actually really love the bottle design.

citrusy floral compliment getter
everything you hear about Prada Paradoxe is true of its intense variety. I've never gotten more compliments on a perfume than I do with this one; one time a guy on a crowded bus stopped to tell me how nice I smelled while he was walking by. if you want people to compliment your perfume, this is the one.
it opens as a very sweet mandarin orange, and dries down into an almost jasmine-y note. it projects like crazy and, to me, smells exactly like the color of the liquid -- that pinky orangey color. I would absolutely recommend trying this one out.

Successful upgrade
I recently reported on the normal "Paradoxe | Prada". This beautiful flanker also deserves a review. In my opinion, it is also rated a little too low here, but that is also a matter of taste. As with the normal Paradoxe, this one clearly goes in this extremely mainstream direction, but I personally don't mind. I like both very much, but this Intense seems much more sophisticated and better balanced to me. Prada works quite well without Daniela Andrier and the leap in this mainstream direction, even if I liked the classy, serious things even more.

The Paradoxe series is definitely a compliment magnet. It's just a great sweet-floral-fruity DNA that you love to smell and also smells very modern. In terms of type, this fragrance is for fans of the typical mainstream bestsellers. However, I particularly like this one and like it a lot better than the normal Paradox.
Here, the flanker has also earned the Intense addition: this EdP is even stronger than the already strong original. What's more, it is a little more sophisticated and, in my opinion, much more suitable for the evening. Here, too, the RRPs are already incredibly overpriced and you should only buy it when there are good offers, as niche prices are already being charged here.

Packaging and bottle are rather typical mainstream. A simple pink bottle for the ladies and the bottle is also rather trashy. This was better in the past, but things are different at L'Oreal. This fragrance is available in 30,50,90ml + a 100ml refill. The 30ml is not worth it in my eyes, if then the big 90ml.
In terms of fragrance, this one clearly goes in the direction of the original, here, as I said, a little more sophisticated and also a little heavier. You get a rather synthetic pear in the opening. Despite being slightly synthetic, it smells really delicious and convinces with a great fruity freshness. These feminine floral notes also start early and are very seductive and sexy. You get fresh neroli/orange blossom. This note is already very light and summery. Then there is jasmine, which also has a gentle effect with a feminine, sensual aura. In addition, there is vanilla in the base, which is not gourmand but still adds a pleasant warm sweetness. There are also 3 synthetic fragrances: Serenolid (musk with sweet, fruity notes), Ambrofix (ambroxan) and Moxalone (musk). All 3 fragrances are from Givaudan. Overall, this combination smells really good and blends into a mixture of ambroxan and fluffy, fruity clean musk, which comes into its own particularly well in the base. Thumbs up for this creation, which is particularly good to wear in the evening and at night. It can also be worn in everyday life, but there rather outdoors or gently dosed.
Performance does justice to Intense. One spray already has an enormous radiance and this remains for a long time. The durability also exceeds the 10-hour mark without any problems. Absolutely satisfying.

All in all, a great release that I love to sniff. A great modern and feminine release from Prada. Compliments will certainly not be lacking here. Possibly not for ladies who prefer to be in the niche, otherwise this flanker is worth a test.

Turned into one of the most rank and offensive scents on my skin. Still thinking about how much I hate this on me.

One of those scents I like at first but know if I live with it, I would eventually get a migraine which is too bad.
