Le Rem Réminiscence 2024 Eau de Toilette Intense

This is spot on what I smelled when, as a kid, we would go to the beach by car on the hottest days. This smells of the relief when, after a long exhausting and too warm ride, we would finally reach the parking lot near the beach, smelling the salty, but sweet air of sea and lotions without these, often overdone, coconutty or tiare notes that make many marine/aquatic-scents so average and thirteen in a dozen and therfore not so realistic. Sometimes I can also smell this in my hometown when the wind comes from the sea which to me smells like the fulfilment of longing for summer.
I absolutely don't understand the low ratings and certainly not the low ratings for sillage and longevity. I even spray this with caution. I sometimes recognize it on others and then I perceive the sillage as huge!
I'm wearing the sample of this new one, I also have the little round bottle with the original and I don't smell any difference whatsoever, not in scent, not in sillage, but for both formulations the ratings are low.
Maybe because it is too realistic and therefore not 'perfume-y' enough?? It really puzzles me. This brand is exactly meant for reminiscing and does this so well!
I'm taken back to these lovely memories of approaching the beach, of long warm lazy days and happiness because summer is finally there.
I also find it rather 'classy' in a way: hotel rooms, fancy dinners at restaurants near the beach, linnen clothing, well groomed people...
If you love these kind of memories, you should at least try it.
To me this smells absolutely gender-less and unisex.

The scent itself is quite nice, very soft and rounded. It starts off aquatic and then becomes slightly sweet, overall very pleasant. In the drydown, I would have guessed a light moss note, but maybe it's the clover?!
I would like to describe Le Rem in more detail, but it is so "subtle" that I simply can't perceive more than that.
Not every fragrance has to be beast mode; I also find quiet scents very pleasant. But this one is so quiet that you need a hearing aid.
What a pity, because the scent actually has the potential to be an everyday fragrance, one you reach for without thinking too much.
Maybe a scent for those who are very sensitive to fragrances? Or do you bathe in it? Spray every minute?

Maybe my sense of smell is just limited, so please correct me if I'm wrong!!
