Lily bomb
I love lilies, one of my favourite flowers along with gardenia, tuberose and lilac. I have tried Tom Ford Shanghai Lily and also Lys Fume, but this is the best lily soliflore. This extrait has fantastic sillage and excellent longevity. Its sweet and green with lovely spicy note in the base. Just lifts my mood when wearing this parfum and love love love.

Romance is in the Air
A warm summer night is stylishly accompanied by Roja's "Lily": floral, balsamic, and rich in dreamy beauty!
Once again, Roja Dove shows how he can create enchanting compositions from even the most ordinary fragrance notes.
"Lily" is not puristic either, but rather characterized by floral opulence and sensual warmth.
How could it be any different?

After a brief classic freshness kick from bergamot and lemon, the gate to Roja's grand flower garden in Grasse opens once more.
He strolls with us through the abundance of blossoms and scents, almost casually assembling a lush bouquet centered around the well-known, fragrant May roses and sensually ripe, large-flowered jasmine, to which he adds some porcelain-like frangipani blossoms this time.
Their uniquely special aromatic mix (which seems to contain a hint of jasmine, a bit of vanilla, and a touch of amaretto/almond) marries exquisitely with the fine spice of the slightly old-fashioned garden carnations that I love, thus creating a successful transition to the sensual encounter with the vanilla goddess Aphrodite, who must not be missed and envelops herself in a veil of erotic-animalic musk, which she skillfully spreads like a finely woven net of scent over this seductive splendor!

The alluringly developing beauty of this fragrance tempts one into romantic dreams.
With the typical longevity of Roja, the individual fragrance notes have all the time to unite tastefully; they entwine with each other in a fragrant dance.

Even though "Lily," the proud, scent-intensive lily, is missing here as a fragrance component, this expanding magic delights in its own unique way.
Here, romance in fragrance bears the enticing name "Lily"!

Classic? Not quite.
It would be lovely if a fairy appeared to me now and granted me a perfume wish. But wait! Only one? And then: Which one? Actually, I already have some floral chypres like "Dia Woman," although it is much soapier, more floral, and sweeter than "Lily" by Roja. Or "Quelques Fleurs" by Houbigant, which is bursting with floral notes and not so soapy. Or "Tosca Parfüm" - I mean the real perfume - which is a classic oriental floral chypre with everything that entails.
All three mentioned do not, at least for me, perceptibly contain some of the flowers that can be slightly unpleasant to overwhelming for me, such as jasmine, lily of the valley, lily, and certain orange blossom notes. The exception for me is ylang-ylang, which I actually like for its somewhat piercing scent, but I cannot perceive it individually in these complex fragrances.
However, the three listed scents also do not have any noticeable tuberose and tiaré like I can distinctly smell in "Lily."
I explicitly write: Not perceptible to me. Because they are probably also incorporated in the polyfloral scents.
"Lily" is, in contrast to the mentioned and other floral chypres, a distinctly more robust floral scent, starting off green and cool. The citrus notes apparently blend immediately with the heart note for me.
I immediately smell jasmine and lily of the valley, but also tiaré, and again in the third test, I can perceive the tuberose. I recognize tiaré, but I cannot describe it. The rose seems to be one of the modern ones with a green and fresh note.
The flowers that initially smell slightly animalistic transform after a while into a holistic, not overwhelming floral mixture that I find exceptionally enchanting. The robustness clearly comes from the cloves and later on from the spice clove.
The clove notes with a subtle wood tone tame the floral mixture, making it more robust but not dominating it. Therefore, there is only a subtle creaminess. Above all, "Lily" is not sweet for me; vanilla seems to only work in the background. I qualify "not sweet." Because "Lily" certainly has the sweetness of the flowers with the mentioned green notes, but no nectar or honey sweetness.
After some time, even the clove note fades, and the flowers become more delicate and transparent.
The longevity is very good, and the sillage seems rather moderate.
"Lily" is declared as a feminine scent. I can imagine that men might also like it for its balance of floral and spicy robustness.
In my opinion, Lily is a perfume that one could also wear at the so-called "big" events without losing its scent in the general perfume and odor cacophony.
I cannot compare "Lily" with any of the scents I have tested so far. It is lovely to be able to test this preciousness at all. And for two to three special occasions, the sample is more than enough. Heartfelt thanks to the generous giver.

For a focus on lily look elsewhere. This is luscious tropical white flowers with polished demeanour. Lovely. But it can't dethrone Songes.

Initially, the "concentrated floralcy" blows one almost away. Then changes to soft, slightly fresh, multifaceted whitefloral bouquet. Great!

Scent for a grand entrance, white floral opulence, top-notch. Too bad I don't like the genre. Those seeking perfection will be happy here!

Summer night of lush fragrance notes: a romantic blend of flowers and spices composed in the tried-and-true Roja style, with a warm-sensual climax.

Fresh or delicate? Quite the opposite on me! Sultry, almost animalistic with jasmine and tiare (or tuberose???). A blast for about 1h, then floral-sweet.

A harmonious, rounded & soft white floral scent, the prominent lily of the valley is captured by spicy clove, just a bit too much musk for me.

Opulent white blossoms that gain a nostalgic touch from warm-spicy cloves. Harmonious, but only suitable for rare occasions.

Mature lilies, a hint of lacquer, powder - a white floral bouquet on the vanity, next to the powder box, lipsticks - feminine, elegant.
