Did I miss something?
At least I don't see what is supposed to be scandalous about this fragrance. It is indeed an opulent floral scent, and timid souls might even classify it as intense. But extraordinary, or even scandalous? Those who compare it to Shocking or Tabu will find the Roja Dove scent rather harmless.

The fragrance does not have a top note, that is true, so one might perceive the opening as a real bang - but to stay on topic, as the name suggests, both jasmine and especially tuberose should make a much stronger impression. As it stands, I find this floral cornucopia more romantic than exciting.

This style is also reflected in the base, because to add a bit more sophistication or naughtiness to turn it into a scandal, a hint of civet or other distinctly animalistic notes might have served well.

Both sillage and longevity are commendable, but for me, that is not a decisive criterion. I prefer a refined scent with average longevity over a banal scent with staying power. Now, I don't want to call Scandal banal, but floral fragrances of this category do not need to be sought in such a high-priced assortment.

Scandalous Lily of the Valley!
Well, what can I say! Lily of the valley has never affected me before, but this one is about to make me blind, deaf, and scentless. Hiiiiiiiiihelp!

And yet, somehow I know this scent. There was a fragrance in my youth that smelled so piercingly strong of geranium and lily of the valley that I already threw in the towel back then.

This one surpasses the one from my memory - unfortunately, I can't recall the name anymore - by miles.

No matter how many other flowers are in it, all I smell is lily of the valley and geranium in regimental strength! The base probably stands no chance of keeping them in check, but I can only assume that since I - thank goodness - only have a scent strip.

However, even though this scent strip must be a few days old, the sillage is enormous, and the longevity on the skin should easily withstand several showers. Therefore, I am very glad it is a scent strip, because I tend to spray samples directly on my skin, and I would probably be overwhelmed with this one!

I also got to sniff the scent strip for the male Scandal, which is much more beautiful, smelling masculine but very fine and elegant. What a difference!

Dear Seymour, thank you very much for this surprise. I hope your nose has recovered from it by now. ;-))

He Lives Up to His Name
As one can already suspect from the ingredients, he is a white flower explosion and as his name rightly suggests, he is not for sensitive souls; nevertheless, he is truly elegant.
He starts off loud and anything but innocent, and only after some time does he become softer. He is also not really indolic, but I can easily imagine him on hot summer nights.
I can't compare him to other white florals, as they can sometimes come off as classic or matronly to boring, and at the first moment of spraying, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
In any case, he is surprisingly different; you will either love him or hate him.
In any case, one should like strong white florals and use him sparingly.

Luxuriously creamy Roja Dove version of Eau Sauvage EDT (not Parfum). So reminiscent in fact that it's superfluous if you already own ES.

Very classic tuberose scent with other white flowers and aldehydes: powdery, bright spicy, very well done, but also a bit boring.

A bright, radiant white flower, fresh, almost clean, slightly soapy. Finely woven, no single bloom stands out. I'm in fragrance heaven! (EdP)

Opulent floral scent, but the lily of the valley stands out too much for me. A pink-romantic unicorn scent; the only scandalous thing is the price.

Wonderful! Bright, radiant, soft, a perfectly coordinated bouquet of flowers. Scandalously beautiful, enveloping with an equally stunning sillage.

It can't even cause a scandal in Hintertupfingen, visit to the flower shop in a romantic mood, followed by a trivial date.

Tuberose-flower overkill. First it makes you cry, after 2 hours it makes you smile, very toned down, but unfortunately then hardly anything left.

Admittedly, a lovely floral mix with a musk base, pleasant, but neither scandalous nor worth the money, sorry.

soapy, creamy, floral blend
quite nice, but what’s “scandalous” about it?
way too subtle, office-friendly
H/S disappointing. Sorry
