Fragrance with soul
From Swiss Arabian you are often used to very good, the whole 'al Ghutra fragrances for example, or Al Basel and the highly acclaimed Shaghaf oud Abyad are some a term.
Attar Mubakhar is clearly the oil version of Attar al Ghutra, which is in contrast to the EdP Vesion
a) slower developed and
(b) lasts significantly longer.
Here, too, there is a good portion of smoke in play, which harmonizes so beautifully with the fruity, flowery and woody notes, that no other musician in this category can match. Arabi Cana, which is also a twin fragrance, was too alcoholic for me and by the time I could see some of the fragrance it was almost gone. This is different with this fragrance oil, Attar Mubakhar I perceive many hours, even if with time very close. The Sillage is not exactly room-filling, it blows from time to time into your nose, but not very long, which is not necessarily the case with this beautifully worked fragrance, here the ingredients are so beautifully interwoven that it does not have to be stronger.
There are many smoky Orientals, but not many good ones, so Attar Mubakhar is a welcome change, even if I have known one for a long time. Everything was done right here, you have besides smoke some other players like frankincense, tobacco and for the sweet one a hint of vanilla, he doesn't overtax you.
Altogether a very well to be carried and exemplary Oudduft.
