Unfortunately not for me

Top note:
Oh! What a fresh, bright scent hits me! Slightly floral, citrusy, possibly resinous - I can't identify it and I'm thrilled because it smells so different. Is there a hint of wood in there too?

Everything smells very light, fine, and subtle.

Heart note:
But then, oh horror … a scent sneaks in through the back door that I find in many perfumes, and I don't like it at all. A bit sweet, slightly animalic … is that musk? Or amber?

I want to wash it off immediately, but I have to stay brave because I still want to experience the base note.

I wait … and wait … but not much changes anymore. The heart note is skipped for me, and this penetrating sweetness remains, which completely ruins the perfume oil for me. What a pity, it was nothing, but it was an interesting journey, and the top note is truly enchanting.

An Underrated Oriental - the Cuddly Relation to Black Afgano

a fragrance that I was cautious about applying. I wasn't in the mood for anything too heavy or dark today. But somehow, Fadeitag lured me in. Recently, I wore Black Oud by LM, which eventually got on my nerves terribly - this one also shows a clear relation to Black Afgano; I will try to exchange it, as many love the scent. Fadeitag has an oud note that reminds me a lot of Black Oud and Black Afgano, perhaps this comes from the combination with oud, amber, and something like castoreum? I don't know.
However, Fadeitag does not come across as animalic. In contrast to BO&BA, it does not initially feel dark, but rather bright and radiant. Alongside this well-known note, there are almost fruity notes here. This makes the fragrance almost gourmand. Only over time does it become a bit calmer, darker - but it still remains somewhat friendlier than the mentioned relation.
While the Nasomatto and LM tend to keep a bit of distance, Fadeitag invites you to cuddle, and is also less intrusive.
The similarity is somewhat less pronounced than with Cuirs etc, but I think one will recognize it - and I believe the scent can represent an interesting alternative for some. I would prefer this beautiful oriental, as I feel more comfortable and secure with it.
45ml EDP costs 45 GBP - also cheaper than the relation.

Fadeitak is a creamy, soft and delicate sandalwood, on a base of very elegant amber sweetness. Unisex and with good performance.

Sweet amber with a slightly herbaceous and oud-like note. Very pleasing and never overwhelming. The Swiss version of an oriental fragrance ;)

It leans very much towards "Raghba" & Co. Soft, sweet, amber-like guaiac wood tones with subtle animal notes.
Super discreet and close to the skin. It's too faint for me.
