The ugly Duckling
Sometimes we come across very difficult perfumes to classify in our tastes, or, at least, know for sure if we like them or not, because they have very nice things that we like very much, and others that we dislike. Well, that's how I meet Mutamayez, I don't know if I like it, I dislike it or I love it, because I have all these feelings with him.

The beginning of this perfume is pleasant but strange, it smells like a candied oranges on a creamy wood, but far from feeling crisp and natural, it is as if all this was opaque by a dusty veil, which nuances and is only perceived An echo of the aroma. It smells good, but it doesn't quite convince me, although you have to give it time, because the drying is spectacular. Drying is a spicy and sweet wood, to take off your hat.

I don't like the beginning much, then, little by little, I start to like it, and more and more, until there comes a time in the drying, which I love, and from there, it is amazingly beautiful.

As for his resemblance to M7 of YSL, now that I have it and have tried it several times, I can tell you that the final drying, after a few hours, does resemble the drying of M7, but the rest of the perfume , do not.

The duration is quite good, overcoming the 8-hour skin barrier, but with a moderate wake at all times, perhaps something more pronounced and heavy in the first hours of the application, and then somewhat more timid.

It is a perfume of cold and temperate climates, and indifferently for day or night, but not very suitable for days of extreme heat, it could easily tire.

For the beginning, I find a perfume difficult to recommend, it is strange with that orange powdered over blurred woods, although it is true that it is very original, you will never have smelled anything like it, but ..., drying, it is wonderful, and its Price, ridiculous, so, you will know if you are interested or not, I, just for drying the perfume, keep my bottle to enjoy it from time to time.

The Oriental Version of YSL M7
Similar, but not a dupe of M7.
However, if you like M7, you should give this one a chance.
An interesting scent, very unique.
The oud is very beginner-friendly,
similar to the oud in "Bade'e Al Oud - Oud for Glory | Lattafa / لطافة"

Oud and orange are the main protagonists here.
The vanilla and amber give the fragrance a slight sweetness, but it is not very noticeable, as the oud and orange are simply too prominent.
I can't say what causes the smokiness, but I do perceive something smoky, although it is very restrained, thankfully.
The cypress and vetiver give the fragrance a slight green touch.
The scent has everything: sweet, smoky, green, oudy, and fruity from the orange.

Sillage and longevity? I find the longevity stronger than the sillage.
In the first hour, I can perceive it, though not very strongly, but I can notice it.
In the second hour, I can't perceive it at all anymore, but I don't know if it's because a note in the fragrance makes me nose-blind or if it simply doesn't have the power.
However, the longevity seems to be okay; I can still faintly smell it on my clothes the next day.

Who can wear it? I would say it's more suited for men; I can't imagine it on a woman.

Would I recommend it? People who like extraordinary fragrances that set them apart from the crowd and can handle oud, I can only recommend this scent to them.
If you don't find this oriental, complex scent appealing, you should rather look for another fragrance or test this one somehow before regretting the purchase.
For me personally, it's an interesting scent that I wouldn't necessarily buy again, as there are definitely better options.

Oriental Forests
Many "perfume enthusiasts" have probably already noticed that one of my favorite fragrance themes is the forest.
Pine forests, mixed forests, deciduous forests, "grim" old trees, delicate birches, gnarled oaks, "sublime" cedars.... One after the other, depending on the perfume.
And once again, I have chosen a forest theme with "Mutamayez".
This scent is distinctly woody, without coming across as harsh or dry. It is also not directly associated with the "bearded gender".
NOT a "lumberjack scent", but rather one that represents fine sculptural wood art.
Cedar and cashmere wood provide sun-drenched warmth. Pines bring a cooling breeze. The spices evoke exotic shrub landscapes, as found in the Orient.
Dense, green forest landscapes alternate with grassy steppes. Everything is enveloped in soft scent veils of musk and amber wood.
"Mother Earth" greets with earthy vetiver.
The longevity of this "Mutamayez" is enormous. And the sillage is also carved from good wood.
The wearer feels as if they are outside in the air, aromatically accompanied by fragrant woods after a warm rain shower, when the sun intensifies the aromas....

Wow...
Well, this is a real surprise. I had read that it was an M7 dupe and just added it to my cart, but I didn't expect it to be so much better. Creamy oud scent, not too sweet, not too spicy, just perfect. The ideal everyday fragrance with a unique character.

A Quite Pleasant and Successful Fragrance
Now I am reviewing a sample of Mutamayez. I believe I also received this one from Sören - thank you for that :-) I quite like the fragrance so far. The longevity is successful at around 6 to 8 hours, while the sillage is somewhat weaker.

The top note starts off oriental and spicy with aromas of nutmeg, saffron, and cinnamon. The heart note offers an oriental touch, a rather synthetic oud aroma, some powderiness, and a subtle smokiness. The base then becomes sweeter and almost gourmand with a hint of wood. Amber and bourbon vanilla provide a lovely finish.

I find this fragrance quite pleasing, uncomplicated, and successful in the end.

A returner, wonderfully crafted spicy-woody, slightly powdery-floral all-rounder. Cool-warm effect, initially minty, later earthy+woody GOOD

Orange and light woods. Oud? Well. In my opinion, it's a bit weak, already close to the skin after 2-3 hours. Unfortunately, I don't know M7.

Orange amber + strong musk. After the comments, I had a completely different idea of Mutamayez than after the test. Too feminine for me!!!

For me, it’s more like sweet stuff, fizzy powder. H&S were rather poor. No purchase recommendation!
