Love at first sniff, but also at the second.
I tested this fragrance in a perfume store, directly on the skin, and also received a sample.
Right from the first spray, a dominant oud cloud greets you. Very animalistic and powerful, yet not overwhelming. It feels very balanced, and there’s a kind of freshness, almost menthol-like smokiness that complements it very well. The rose is very much in the background, but is perceptible from the very beginning. For me, this is by far the best oud fragrance so far. The only downside is the unfortunately very high price.
