Unisex Tobacco
I love the scent of cigars, pipe tobacco, and also a lit pipe. But most tobacco fragrances I have tried seemed too masculine and "harsh" ... until I smelled Sunny Nights...
Mathew from Lost Tribe has wrapped two types of tobacco in a bed of amber, musk, and rose, making this fragrance so soft and aromatic. The Cambodian oud and sandalwood unite the scent, emphasizing the floral and creamy facets of the tobacco and giving it more depth and longevity.
What I have noticed with such high-quality natural fragrances (including some Ensar Oud scents) is that a single test is not enough to appreciate all the beauty and depth. It was only after several attempts over a few weeks that I fell in love with this fragrance.
It is sweet without being gourmand, aromatic without being spicy, and reveals the secrets of its natural ingredients a little more each time. For me personally, no synthetic materials can achieve this feeling of comfort and complexity.
I leave the final word to the perfumer - in the official description of Sunny Nights it says, and I quote -
"This blend is deep and dark but at points contains bursts of sunshine. It starts off with some mouth watering Italian Mandarin and a metric ton of brown ambergris. But this blend is about more than just the top notes the true star of this show is Tobacco! From the heart to the dry down you get loads and loads of tobacco. In the heart the tobacco is joined with some vanilla and cedarwood. The cedarwood highlights the dark boldness of the Tobacco while the vanilla helps to smooth it out a bit. The florals and the spices intertwine to bring an oriental spice.
Starting from the heart into the dry down a leathery smokey castoreum mimics the burning of tobacco from a pipe. The labdanum adds a touch of sweet citrus resins and the cinnamon is just added slightly to accentuate the spices. and last the beautiful Wild Koh Kong oud with notes of dates and honey. This oud is very high quality, its thick resinous and super bold. Each bottle will contain just about a gram of oud inside."
