No, just no

I included Maremma in my Tiziana Terenzi sample order because it is supposed to be similar to highly touted Black Orchid. I have never sampled Black Orchid and figured on testing Terenzi's version while going through others from this house. Well, assuming Maremma does smell close to Black Orchid, I'm never coming close to it. In short, Maremma is a sweet, floral, plastic, synthetic mess. It's only redeeming factor is that as it dried down, it did mellow out a bit although it still remained awful. I can't see any man or woman wearing this. It is just SO bad.

Longevity was good while projection was more moderate. The only thing worse than Maremma's scent is the fact that its longevity was good and I had to put up with it for so long.

Creamy & Woody cocoa

Maremma is a very nice scent. It is a sandalwood & patchouli creamy fragance with loads of cocoa and a sweet flowery vibe. It is true that is very similar to black orchid by Tom Ford. If you smell them together there are some differences. Maremma smells more intense and overall more natural while black orchid is a bit more medicinal and plástic. In adition maremma has a better performance and lasts more time on skin projecting in a low/moderate level for 3-4 hours while black orchid projects high the first hour and then fades off quickly. However if a smell them separatly un different days i cant say which perfume is...i have tried It with my brother telling him use the two different days and i would say which one are you wearing...and not...i couldnt! I must say that i usted to LOVE black orchid because years before had a gorgeous performance. Now nevertheless It has changed and It has Lost all his powerful so maremma is a good option for those Who miss the old black orchid... Better for night time with fresh weather. Unisex!

On a beautiful late spring day...

... i've arranged to meet friends for a picnic. I have fruit, baguettes and honey in my basket. Before I get to the park, I have to go through an underpass. What's so smelly here? Luckily it's not long and I enter the park. The scent of flowers and wood wafts into my nose. As arranged, we meet in a small clearing. Everyone has brought something and the big feast can begin.

When you apply this fragrance, the first thing you notice is a stinky accord (I can't describe it any other way). But it's not the oud, or maybe it is? Fortunately, the stinkiness only accompanies us very briefly before something fruity and sweetly citrusy comes along. The sweetness takes on a light honey vibe that mixes with woods and floral accents. The fruitiness continues to increase. Resinous and spicy notes follow. The patchouli makes this perfume deeply dark and therefore masculine.

The longevity and silage are very good.

Here we have a fragrance from the house of Tiziana Terenzi that is launched as unisex. I can't really confirm that because of its strong dark masculine accent I see (smell) it more on men than on women. As always, ladies please try it out and judge for yourself. This is definitely not a fragrance for a blind purchase. Due to its very grown-up and not necessarily simple character, I see this fragrance as being open from the age of 25 upwards. With the exception of very hot days, it can be worn all year round. During the day, please only apply very lightly, it is wearable in the office, at a meeting, in a coffee shop or while shopping. In the evening, apply with a little more "wum" (but please only a single wum, i.e. no double wum) in the bar, pub, club, disco or where it is still dark and mysterious.

If you like a slightly dirty, initially sintinky, fruity, citrusy, woody, floral, sweet, masculine, dark fragrance, try this one.

The Massive

If a scent in the direction of 24 hours gets stuck on my skin, and the first thing that gets into my nose in the morning is the scent of the day before, then that's worth a review.

One thing in advance, my attempts to sail me along the fragrance pyramid have failed miserably. Too much power develops Maremma and after two fully pumped sprayers I feel like I am fully blown through. This stuff's got some real boom. And the womms, it'll last a long time.

The start on my skin is like a mixture of fresh, fruity, spicy and at the same time sweetish, whereby the freshness disappears (too) quickly, but is perhaps so wanted. After that, as I said, I don't find myself in the fragrance pyramid, Maremma simply remains incredibly full. I feel like I've layered Tom Ford's Oud Wood and Lost Cherry with Kilian's Intoxicated. Whether this huge mixture pleases or not, the fragrance is and remains impressive in any case.

What I completely miss in the pyramid and what I mean to perceive more and more with increasing duration are vanilla undertones. Arranged quite differently, however, than one knows it from such typical vanilla scents as Vanille Fatale or Tobacco Vanilla.

This mixture of woody notes with the sweetness of honey and (I'm sticking with it) vanilla probably brings this heaviness with it and the fragrance gradually takes over. Wrapping its vehicle (m/w/d) in a pre-X-mas mood. Hardly Christkindlmarkt-capable.

As I said, I seldom smelled a perfume that I find so hard to describe. Also because over many hours new facets can be discovered again and again.

And just because of that a test recommendation.

Durability massive, overnight no problem. Sillage dangerous, firstly because strong and secondly because the office neighbor may fog the senses. The bottle a statement, here comes no quitter, but someone who wants to know. When: in the evening and in winter. Who: I see rather the ladies among us find favor, for the gentlemen of creation, pffff, I do not know right.

Definitely not a mass product, from my point of view a special fragrance for special people.
