Zimt Bombe

Flour instead of Cocaine

Anyone expecting a heavy drug high when picking up the bottle should be warned!
Because there are no crazy rollercoaster rides of emotions here. It’s more like a sweet little rabbit nibbling on a carrot and then rolling around in flour instead of cocaine. Perfect for Easter time *gg*

Although the name sounds very much like some kind of narcotic, and to be fair, all the bottles from Tokyomilk have a certain dark and mysterious touch, this scent is so far removed from any substances that would intoxicate you to the point of unconsciousness.

It starts off quite sweetly and has a delicate hint of ginger in the background. Over time, it becomes slightly peppery. However, it’s a very mild spice that runs through the fragrance. Like a shallow fog, the scent lingers in the air. The sweetness feels slightly creamy, milky. It’s not a rich revelation that unfolds here; rather, the scent rests on the soul and takes its time to get going. After what feels like an eternity, the fragrance becomes a bit richer and fuller. Vanilla swirls around, allowing a few fruity nuances to dance - a light smoke mingles with the fog and remains for quite a while. A bit of cinnamon comes along, becoming quite rich over time and then suddenly disappearing into nothing. Huh? I thought, what was that supposed to be? It doesn’t fit in here at all. I would say it’s a total miss. Cinnamon has no place here. Not fitting.

After a long time, there’s an endless nothing - somewhat woody at the core, but with a bit of pepper. All of this is embraced by a sweet vanilla. Unfortunately, the scent gives me a very artificial impression. It conveys no sense of quality and comes across as if it were made only for a short time. Unfortunately, both the longevity and the sillage leave much to be desired. Over time, the fragrance becomes a bit warmer and closer to the skin, but more than a bit of sweetness with fruits and some spice is not there. It seems quite okay, but nothing more. I expected more pep. As it is, it’s a simple scent that can occasionally sit on the skin.

What a shame, because looking at the bottle and the name, there’s a lot of potential for some really wild things that could take us into a dizzying whirlpool of intense emotions. Cool name, rather boring and generic scent. So, not much remains of the impression of Novacaine. It’s like flour in the bag. Instead of cocaine.

What sounds like a drug high or numbness is a Christmas rollback: smells like gingerbread with cardamom and cinnamon. More harmless than expected.

A nice, rather subtle scent. A hint of ginger, two peppercorns, and creamy vanilla. Nothing here is overwhelming or reminiscent of medication.

Surrounded by a bitter-spicy pill in the hospital, you suddenly find yourself in a Christmas bakery. Not bad at all.

The initially musty ginger & cardamom then arrange themselves a bit more pleasantly around the vanilla. Frankincense is just a typo here.

Starts fruity-spicy and becomes soft and slightly smoky over time. Unsweetened vanilla and a hint of the finest powder crown the finale.
