Green is not the same as fresh
Green is not the same as fresh in this case, but rather opulent and heavy. I made this experience when I tested the fragrance and fortunately did not buy it. I reached for the tester because of the fresh green color, and instead of a fresh scent of grass or forest, I was overwhelmed by a cloying sugary floral bomb.
The beginning still features fresh ingredients like mandarin and grapefruit. But then blackcurrant came in and pushed everything aside. Raspberry in its sweetest form and very artificial, plum like it was overripe, and no coconut. Together, just cloying and suffocating. The dry down then escalates with musk, vanilla, iris, and cedar. That was the kicker that pushed everything else against the wall. The longevity is very long at about 7 hours, and in the end, there are smoky notes as well. For me, it was just a bit too much of everything. Those who enjoy such fragrances will find it well worth the price.
