Cédrat de Diamante Versace 2019

Discovered today thanks to a gift from family who know my sensitivity for very rare and difficult to find perfumes.

This is a fresh perfume ideal for summer. The sillage is above the norm for a summer perfume and it easily lasts 7 hours on the skin.

in terms of perfume it is the same as aqua di gio profumo with a slightly smokier side.

The Cedrat de Diamante by Atelier Versace is my second fragrance from this house, alongside "Atelier Versace - Safran Royal | Versace." I purchased both fragrances in November 2022 at Breuninger.

Unfortunately, it must be said that the fragrances from Atelier Versace receive far too little attention. As the review before mine aptly describes, very few people own one of the fragrances. I really stand out as someone who has two of them.
In my opinion, the fragrances are clearly underestimated and far too unknown. The CD is also beautifully combined, a true pleasure to wear this scent. A freshy that is also quite suitable for winter.
The packaging and bottle look very elegant, especially due to the mirror in the packaging. A real eye-catcher. With the suggested retail price of €345, this is to be expected.

The negative aspect of this fragrance (and also of Safran Royal) is simply the comparatively low performance.
Don't get me wrong, the scent lasts its 6-8 hours (on my skin) easily. The sillage is significantly over 1m in the first 2 hours, then it pulls back to arm's length, and after 6-8 hours, the fragrance is only perceptible from very close up.
For the asking price, however, this is clearly too little; in this price range (and even starting from €220-230), there are other, brutal beastmode fragrances. This is probably one of the reasons why the fragrances are so unknown - up to €200, I know many who buy fragrances in this price range. Beyond that, it gets thinner, and beyond €300, there are very few, almost fragrance junkies, at least in my circle of acquaintances. In this price range, everything simply has to be perfect.
The second point to mention is clearly the lack of marketing; it is comparatively difficult to get hold of these fragrances, only in well-stocked perfume stores can you find them - and then often somewhat off to the side, without much attention. Perhaps this is also intentional on Versace's part to remain exclusive - I have no idea. However, the fragrances certainly do not deserve this.

Conclusion: The fragrance or the composition is incredibly strong, very well executed, and you can notice the quality that is in the liquid. Unfortunately, the performance for the asking price is too meager. I would see the fragrance more in the €220-250 range; in this segment, it would be an incredibly good competitor for Xerjoff, MFK, and co.
