XerJoff (SOSPIRO) / Laylati (Afgano Puro)
In a nutshell - this perfume is like the sister of Black Afgano. Why sister? Because they smell very similar to him with a slight difference - they are more balsamic, vanilla and musky. I think they may even and more like the fair sex in relation to BA. Besides - they are very similar to him.
The durability is very long: about 10 hours with good projection. I recommend to fans of fragrances similar to BA, FORTIS.
Take, try, don't regret it ... one, two, three ...

At night all flacons are grey
Laylati means as much as night (well - I googled) according to my modest knowledge of Arabic. And as is well known, not only the cats but also the bottles are grey. And if you disregard the bottle (even if it's velvety purple) and just sniff what the contents say, then we know why this eau de parfum was originally called Afgano Puro.

My point is: here we clearly have another Black Afgano ... well, I don't want to write a copy now, but the perfumer (why isn't that actually specified with such an expensive brand as Sospiro???) whoever that might be had it clearly in the olfactory visor ... so let's say reminiscence ... before us!

Perhaps a little softer, perhaps a little less incense-heavy - but just as dark, herbaceous, woody, spicy, resinous and mystical with animalistic hints that the name Laylati is justified in this sense.

I wouldn't believe the pyramid too much either, because in theory it differs too much from the original. It may be that I assume something about the scent, but believe me: if you like Black Afgano, but would like to have the same in green or in this case in violet from Sospiro with a timid vanilla finish and prefer to cut a little cheaper in relation to 100 ml, you can just as well help yourself here.

In addition, the lack of incense (however it was replaced by anything else) has largely reduced the risk of headache. Nevertheless, both projection is almost filling halls and the shelf life is good for almost two nights.

May the night be with you!

The woodsy cousin of the Black Afgano who walks around with a knife
I love the Black Afgano, at some point I heard that Laylati is similar to it, but is much more balsamic and more wearable in everyday life. At the price of Black Afgano, I naturally tested it out.

Yikes - it looks like a blade to me. It has the Black Afgano vibe, only in green and pungent, but in a pleasant way - I think it's fantastic. I also find it more suitable for everyday wear, as BA is more of an occasion fragrance for me. Laylati aka Afgano Puro is initially mysterious, semi-strange and definitely has its own "dark, heroic daredevil aura" - hehe, that's me! As usual with Xerjoff, the sillage and longevity are very good. In the drydown it calms down, it remains a great balsamic-dark, woody vanilla/tobacco scent, which develops with the knife-like herbs into an ever-emerging wolf-like beast that stands in the forest at night and suddenly stares at you out of nowhere with dark red sparkling eyes, then the beast turns around and disappears into the depths of the night. It shows that it is there, could tear you apart, but is peaceful and therefore does nothing. Strange comparison, I know - but what can I say, I'm just a funny head. If Black Afgano is in the middle, then Terroni is on the right because it has the earthy, resinous, smoky essence of Black Afgano, while Laylati is on the left because it combines the pungent, spicy, sharp-edged pungency of Black Afgano.

I think you can wear Laylati all year round, depending on the dosage of course. In summer and spring it can be cool, while in winter and fall it can be warm.

As someone with a good collection of fragrances, I have to say that Laylati makes the shortlist of signatures! Certainly a polarizing fragrance that not everyone will like. I, however, love it.

This is my new signature
I smelled the fragrance in a perfumery some time ago and immediately tested it on my skin. I was a little surprised the first time I sprayed it, as the scent is not quite so pleasing to my nose and is rather "drizzly". However, as I never got it out of my head, I tried it again a few weeks later and had a small bottle sent to me. This time I was immediately smitten and bought the bottle the next day.
It reminds me of a kind of cake from my childhood, but I know exactly which one. I just have this weird association with cake. :,D
In any case, this smell just makes me addicted.

Noble, woody, delicious and in the drydown, although not specified, I can actually smell some oud.
Longevity and sillage are amazing. When I come home from work in the evening, my apartment still smells of it and I can still smell it on me.

I can't say much about the similarity to Black Afgano. I only smelled it once on a friend. For me, Laylati has something that reminds me of my childhood, which Black Afgano didn't.
I wouldn't recommend it as a blind buy, but definitely try it out if you're looking for something special. For me personally, it's the best fragrance from the V-Collection. (I also own and like Accento very much, but Laylati is a bit more special, I think)

No blind purchase recommended
I bought this fragrance blind and was surprised by its spicy and slightly smoky notes.
When I first sprayed it on, the woody nuances dominated for me, which seemed a little unpleasant at first. However, as the fragrance developed, the herbal notes became more prominent, which made the overall experience more pleasant. The sillage and longevity are impressively strong.
Unfortunately, the perfume got onto the velvet in some places, which led to a slight shedding.

Sounds proper on rainy days or on a sea shore. For me it is a smell of achievement, respect and wealth. Just pray for rain, guys.

Opens boozy & woody with some dark tones, but dries surprisingly simple - mostly cedar w/ mild tobacco & patchouli. Masculine, spring-fall.
