Casual elegance

What? Wearing Sunday water on a Monday? Yep, that’s me, the rebel in his 40’s.

This relatively common cologne actually made me feel totally handsome and laidback. There is something about this casual freshness in combination with a light patchouli elegance.

Of the Lostmarch range, this one is the best I have tried so far. Sunday has always been my favorite day of the week.

I only give this scent...

...5 out of 10 points. Not because it doesn’t smell good, on the contrary, it is well made. You can clearly tell that it comes from the house of Lostmarc'h and is quite expensive, it doesn’t smell artificial or develop synthetically on my skin.
I like the citrusy opening, waiting for the scent to become cozier and more cuddly with woods and tonka bean... and I wait... and I wait.
To me, this scent is simply too harsh. Absolutely not unisex. It has something of aftershave. If I were a man and a woman smelled like this, I would find it very strange and would feel quite gay (if I were into women, this masculine scent would rather irritate me). But to each their own. I like crossover and people who intentionally prevent this heteronormative categorization.

fresh, light, sea breeze

At first spray, I didn't like it. Tried it again today and yes, I like it (maybe it's because it has gotten warmer?). It is fresh and light, and I don't know why, but I get a slight sea breeze from it. As if the sea were just a few kilometers away. Otherwise, I can't pick out individual components.

Fit through lounging around? Yes!!!

Yes, my dears, finally there is a fragrance that makes you feel really fit and fresh while lounging on the couch on a Sunday.
A wonderfully lazy Sunday - lounging on the couch, legs sprawled to the right and left, watching TV, reading, shoveling in a high-calorie lunch, back on the couch, nibbling on cashew nuts, reading, watching TV, coffee and cake still fit in, and in the evening, while watching a tear-jerker, just inhaling a bag of flips or chips. What a life. I should really quickly calculate the calories of the day, but I can't get far without a calculator; my belly is too full just to get up. So I prefer to sit comfortably and treat myself to a portion of "L'Eau du Dimanche," and poof, I'm 10 kilos lighter, feel top fit and refreshed. This stuff blows the dust out of my brain; it is so wonderfully invigorating, a feeling that you usually only achieve with a proper dose of exercise.
Right after spraying, I am jolted awake by a fresh, herbal, dark green punch. The scent goes straight to the brain and switches off any feeling of laziness, boredom, and everyday dullness. When I snap my fingers, you are instantly awake, feel fresh and rested, and are highly concentrated.
After the high tension, it becomes a bit calmer. A slight warmth spreads and starts to cuddle gently. But the green, fresh notes remain intact.
A fantastic combination of green and slightly warming that is so harmonious and coherent that I perceive the fragrance as a whole. No note pushes itself to the forefront, nothing scratches or bites. For me, it is a true essence of life that probably does good in any season.
