Lavender in its most beautiful form
What a beautiful lavender scent Kythnos!
Lavender is beautifully underlined by the ethereally fresh thyme. The fragrance is largely dry, unsweet and ethereal, cooling and fresh. You just want to inhale it continuously and perceive the scent very well at first.
The closest comparison is "Platinum Egoiste" by Chanel, not in the section where "Egoiste" smells like the average, dull-sweet "Allure" plörre (which it does for my nose for a very long time), but in the section (more like the second half of the course) where the fragrance suddenly reveals an unsweet, masculine lavender.
So "Kythnos" lavender is less sharp masculine and more unisex than the one in the "Platinum Egoiste". And also has this wonderfully cooling and aerating thyme on his side.
The only drawback is a rather average shelf life of the fragrance and a lower sillage compared to the "Platinum Egoiste". Nevertheless, this beautiful fragrance is inevitably on my wish list.
