Whispery ballad of the stormy lemon
On opening, Jannat walks very much along the same lines of a traditional Eau de Cologne both in terms of behaviour and characteristics.
Very fresh and citrusy.

Like an Eau de Cologne, you also have to spray a ton of it on to get any substantial effect, because it very quickly turns into a comfortable and enjoyable aromatic skin scent, in this instance of clean Clary Sage with a slight spicy undertone.

You would be wrong to think that this being an Eau de Parfum compensated for anything.
It doesn’t, and I dread to think what it would be like in thinner concentrations.

Keep your money and get yourself some good old EdC because not only will you obtain the same result, but it will also save you from paling at the sight of the price tag for something that is, although pleasant, certainly not worth it.

A Heart Full of Memories
My thanks to Odeur for the Memo sample.

The top note is relatively average and initially disappointed me a bit. A parade of citrus fruits opens this rather delicate scent.

After 10 minutes, I then perceive a wonderful fragrance! I am racking my brain trying to remember what this scent reminds me of! When I read the fragrance pyramid, I knew what I liked so much. Frangipani! In the late 70s and early 80s, you could purchase the fragrance direction of Frangipani in an eco-boutique alongside patchouli oil. And of course, I had such a fragrance oil. The scent is creamy-soft and slightly reminiscent of ripe peaches.
In the heart note, Frangipani is the defining scent. Neroli and sage merely accentuate the delicious note.

With the base, Janat develops a bit more sweetness, and the creaminess increases slightly. Tonka adds a restrained vanilla note.

The longevity is quite decent, but this Memo does not produce a large scent aura.

There are certainly more sophisticated perfumes, but the Frangipani note has captivated me!

creamy lemon
I admit, I don't like perfumes that trail behind you like a train. I'm also not fond of the scent mix of floral perfume, hairspray, and decorative cosmetics (which, unfortunately, you often get a whiff of, especially on sunny Sundays while walking).

I prefer something a bit more subtle, lighter, not floral, but fresh, yet always special...

Recently, I became the owner of 4 Memo fragrances. One of them is JANNAT, and what can I say: I love it. Right upon spraying, I distinctly perceive the citrus component. However, it is quickly enveloped and lulled by a milky-creamy vanilla carpet. From then on, it smells of sunshine and sunscreen, beach and freckles, good mood and holiday feeling. On the skin, this enchanting, wonderful scent lasts about 5-6 hours, although the nose does have to wander towards the skin. At no time does this fragrance leave a trail. It is subtle and suitable for everyday wear, unless the "holiday scent" distracts you too much. I will keep it and enjoy it today while looking out at the rainy Allgäu.

Bright Blooming Neroli
I really like Neroli scents and have already tried several. Based on the description from Memo Paris, I imagined a lively, rather fruity variant with a beautiful interplay of Neroli and citrus fruits. A glance at the pyramid convinced me, and I bought it blind.

The beginning was very good, a bit soapy and green Neroli sprinkled with juicy bergamot - exactly what I was looking for. However, the white flowers take over, and the scent completely shifts to floral on my skin. The subtle Neroli note can still be detected for a good 7 hours (H/S really top) - but I would have wished for more character here. After 1 hour, the scent remains quite linear, white floral, citrusy, cheerful, and quite refined, but somehow also rather insignificant.

It is definitely not a bad scent and will likely appeal to the general public. An absolute blind buy candidate for everyday wear that you can't go wrong with. For me, however, it could have used a bit more green, more fruit, or more spice.

Toxic Memo Love-Hate
This perfume won't let me go, but I won't buy it. (Not yet, maybe the time for this wonderful perfume hasn't come...)

This perfume reminds me of a toxic love in my early twenties. With a powerful burst of citrus, it presents itself strikingly and confidently. A cheeky, provocative, almost sour freshness. No, you are far too provocative, go away....

But because I seek you so much, I am patient and smell you even longer. The heart note captivates me, and I am surrounded by the desire for surrender. Something in you smells like heaven. An angel composed your heart note, but why do you wear this citrus mask?

Love-hate and an inexplicable attraction, wanting to smell the perfume again and again. My head says no to a purchase - one half of you bothers me too much, even though the other half smells like paradise.

A mature, confident year-round scent. Quite suitable for everyday wear and a true treasure for those who enjoy fresh lemon fragrances.

After a citrusy opening, neroli takes the over, finally slipping into herbaceousness despite the emerging honey note.

Starts off quite citrusy, but quickly becomes a bright floral with clear Frangipani notes, then gets creamier and softer. I like it.

Its sour green-citrus freshness is oddly too intense for me. It has almost a sharpness to it; yet it’s not synthetic.

Zesty bergamot, a bit of juice & the oil of the peel, bright herbal, straw-floral, only gently white-flowering, on pale, milky musk. Nice.
