Hach yes
I was so hoping not to like him. I can not afford him, but he is the most beautiful in a long time. Quite gentle freshness, cozy blanket with a view of rough greenery. The mix of peat and warmth, uncomplicated romance and bold clarity, familiarity, reliability, buttery firewood and black tea with milk...I could slap myself for testing it, and then again, I couldn't have chosen better.

Someday, I'll get me a bottle.

A cuddly Highlander
It's autumn, I'm looking for something cuddly.
In my favorite niche perfumery, the saleswoman raves for sweet oud and amber fragrances and presents me with one sultry schmaltzy bottle after another. I return home and am disappointed. On the way home, my gaze still falls in the display in the shop window...a rectangular Memo Paris flacon in the tartan...what might that be.

From evening, my partner comes home, warm iris butter spreads as he takes off the sacko. A beautiful fragrance, but much too sweet for me. Does that not go on something more tart?
Yes that goes!

Inverness is a cozy Highlander in iris butter combined with tart, warm wood. The initially balsamic sweetness quickly mellows and gives way to a woody powdery scent. It's a feel-good scent that warms the heart and I don't think anyone should mind. Never would I have thought that I could find so much to like in a woody-pudgy fragrance. A little pity is it me nevertheless around the Mate, which goes down in the wood & iris shower jungle and is hardly to be guessed.

The Highlander is unisex wearable and very potent, a spray is enough for me for the whole day.
Many thanks to AnnaMUA for the bottling!

How cozy...
I have once again ordered some bottlings (which were unfortunately this time all together unconvincing, not to say a grip in the loo) and as a free gift the store had enclosed me "Inverness".

Hach, what can I say. I was immediately in love. After a few days, the trial bottle was empty and the bottle had to be here.

How should I describe the fragrance? It is probably one of the most beautiful and softest sandalwood fragrances I know with an incredibly, cozy warm iris butter. Aromatic, creamy woods combine with a barely perceptible sweetness, just wonderfully round and downright delicious. Although they are two completely different scents, I also kept thinking of Crème de Cuir by BDK, one of my all-time favorite perfumes. The fragrance character has basically not much to do with each other, but I'm sure who likes the one will also like the other.

Interestingly, I tested it in pretty summer temperatures, which is fine, but still I had a very autumnal association right away. It is a fragrance to snuggle up. When you spray it on you feel directly snuggled in. The durability is absolutely above average with me. On the skin 8-9 hours (on clothes days). The sillage is very good, but pleasant and not at all intrusive. The packaging and the heavy, high-quality bottle complete the picture.

This will without question a new autumn favorite of mine.

From highlands and downpours
Let's get this straight: I love Memo Paris.
I love the idea, I love most of the scents, the bottles are a f**ing dream.
BUT.
And it's a loud, big but.
The last few releases have confused me in a way.
Even with Sherwood, I stood thunderstruck in front of the shelf, panting for help, looking for some kind of uniqueness.
Here I have the same problem.

The cleanliness of the iris butter blends well with the mate. However, the various woods run frantically through the area without finding anywhere to rest.
A woody-fresh-pudriges Kuddelmuddel which seems to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
I measures me now simply times at the Amyris to give the same role as that which Mfk already 10 years ago in one of his fragrances verbaute.
The balsamic sweetness is clearly recognizable, it strikes in exactly the same notch.
But somehow it no longer pulls the rudder around.
I am at a loss and award im the predicate, "Is all right".
Annoying is also that my skin turns him into a sweet-moded horror that I can not possibly do to myself or my environment.
All in all, he is not for me.
I miss the unique selling point and the ingenuity that makes most of Memo's fragrances so special.
He will certainly please many people and find many friends.
I let him times in the waiting loop, maybe I learn to love him yet.

Powdered woods with warm, creamy iris
The Inverness starts in my opinion directly with powdery acting woods.
I find that also a very slightly greenish, subtly spicy freshness is perceived.

With time, an absolutely warming, creamy iris also comes to the fore. Listed is iris butter and I think that comes also approximately so.

A certain sweetness can also be detected, a creamy balsamic sweetness. Probably by the listed Amyris.

Overall, a really nice fragrance. Unisex wearable.
See him but tends to be more on a woman. I think a woman can carry him a little better than a man or he comes I think with a woman even better to the point.

The fragrance was enclosed me and I was really positively surprised. My girlfriend also likes him very much.
Tests him gladly times from

It's an "ultimate" wood fragrance in my opinion; it's not too much, doesn't smell like old wood, smell cedar and sandalwood... rich and love
