This is a nice addition to the leather line and far more wearable that several of the traditional Memo leather fragrances. A lovely mix between fresh and dark sensual scents. Suitable for day time and evening wear as well as informal and formal occasions. One of the best fragrances from the house of Memo.

Sea breeze

It is as if the day is sunny and the temperature is high and you are on one of the beautiful beaches of Miami and there is a light wind and you smell the beautiful sea breeze. This is the feeling that perfume gives you.

A wonderful citrusy opening with the wonderful smell of the sea breeze without the presence of the exhaled smell of the sea. Some people liken it to Armani Acqua Di Gio. In fact, there is a slight similarity between it in the opening of the fragrance, but I find that the ocean leather is more beautiful and purer, and the performance in the ocean leather is better, and with the high prices of Acqua Di Gio, I see that the ocean leather is a suitable choice for lovers of this fragrance line. Performance was good. The sillage in the first hour is great and then it starts to decrease. Longevity is good. It lasts for me 7 hours. It's not a completely unique and innovative fragrance. But I got compliments when wearing it.The price on the official website is high, but in stores the price is much lower. I got it for $200

Wish it had Ambergris

So the other reviewers have pretty much nailed it already -- this the most accessible of the Memo leather fragrances. Memo leathers are pleasant, but they are something I really don't feel inclined to wear regularly, or even at all. As an example, how often do you want to smell like a leathery tomato plant (a la Italian Leather)? Once every three years? I dunno. Anyway, Ocean Leather bucks the Memo trend as a very approachable fresh citiric fragrance with jusssst a touch of leather to make it interesting. I wore it today while doing yard work outside and running errands -- unfortunately it died down rather quickly in the sun and wind and became faint and kinda unremarkable. I wish it had a bit more OOMPH! Now that I think about it, it has a whale...why the f@#& didn't Alienor Massenet use a bunch of real ambergris as a fixitive? Oh because its expensive and people already aren't buying Memo at the current prices. Even so, that would've been a fantastic addition and would have sent it rocketing upward to the higher levels of perfumery. Do it ya dinguses!
