This is a very realistic and beautiful fragrance. Bergamot is clean, fresh, citrusy with some tartness to it. A woody freshness comes up after awhile. I wasn't a fan of one of the notes in the middle (ginger? or vetiver down below?) as it started leaning more masculine than unisex, but it wasn't so bad. The drydown becomes fresh, woody, mixed with a smooth and warm muskiness.

The thing is... Why would you pay this amount for a fragrance that becomes a skin scent after a whole minute?! The performance of this fragrance is absolutely atrocious and one of the worst I've ever tested. I've smelled bergamot fragrances that have lasted way longer than this one. I know bergamot is part of the volatile notes that have difficulties sticking to the skin, but at this pricepoint? This is ridiculous. There are waaay better citrus / bergamot fragrances out there with better performance and a cheaper pricepoint. I would never recommend this fragrance to anyone as long as Aqua Allegoria Bergamote Calabria isn't discontinued.

Beautiful citrus fruits: fresh, sweet and tangy. It's uplifting and energizing. What's more, it even lasted awhile on my skin and I could smell the orange and the lemon lingering playfully. After awhile, there's a spicy, fresh zing coming from the petitgrain and a warm spiciness coming the cardamom. I'm not sure cardamom was the best thing to my nose 'cause that's when I started to fall out of love with the perfume. As it lives on, the spiciness recedes and a warm, sweetness rises up as the citrus fruits starts backing away. At the end, I'm left with a sweet muskiness that ends the fragrance on a lovely drydown.

I think it's the middle that broke it off for me. The opening was absolutely beautiful and perfect for warm weather. It's overall a unisex fragrance but the cardamom did make it lean a bit masculine for awhile. I'll probably be finishing my sample since I did enjoy it a lot. I'm not sure though the full price is warranted, so that's something you'll have to judge for yourself!

When I saw this one coming out I was hyped! Took some time, but I finally got my hands on a sample thanks to a trusted Facebook fragrance group seller.

When I first smelled it on my boyfriend, I thought he had sprayed Sous L'Abricotier since both are very similar, even though we've finished this fragrance a long time ago. They both have a strong functional aspect of body wash / soap coming from Lush, which means it's a synthetic kind of product and the main reason why it won't be going into my collection. It's nice and I see myself washing myself with it, but I wouldn't want to wear it as a fragrance or as the main thing I'm smelling during the day. It gives off strong synthetic peach vibes, the more syrupy, almost pastry-like one. It has a very strong creamy aspect, almost lactonic to it. It also has a lot of warmth radiating, probably from the benzoin.

All in all, it's one of the better version of peaches in fragrance I've seen in awhile, but it scored low due to its very strong functional aspect paired with the synthetic accord. Isn,t my kind of thing, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people will be enjoying it!

I knew straight up it wouldn't be my kind of fragrance after seeing the notes on Parfumo, but I got offered a free sample so why not?

Dry spices at the start with a lovely peppery note and cloves. It has elegance, warmth and refinement. Soon starts to morph into a smoky incense, paired with a sweet, but well-contained, vanilla. It's soft, cozy, but also has that refinement and elegance Une Nuit Nomade is known for. It slowly starts to add some woodiness and as the vanilla recedes a bit, the incense and the woods become a bit stronger. It's spicy and dark, without being too much. What I enjoyed here is the fact that the scent is not to overpowering. It sits on your skin and radiates without ever feeling over-bearing and in-your-face.

I'm still not a fan of smoky fragrances and strong woody notes, so this one won't be making it into my collection, but I'm still glad I got to try a new release (free at that!).

If Dear Polly Eau de Parfum and Molecule 01 + Black Tea had a baby, this would be the result. This Guerlain at its finest, most elegant level, an elevated, sophisticated and refined experience between the partnership of the white, fresh neroli and the smoky, black tea.

I do get people who also compare it with Green Tea Eau Parfumée as it does have a certain freshness as the start due to the slightly spicy petitgrain and the sweet freshness of the citrus bergamot, but the comparison stops there. After that it's an elevated neroli paired with a smoky black tea. It has a base very similar to Dear Polly (without the apple) for it's slightly powdered black tea facet and to Molecule 01 + Black Tea for it's zing of freshness. The drydown fades the black tea away in favor of a more earthy, smoky, warm drydown with a twist of spiciness from the ambrette seed.

There's a lot to love from this fragrance and people who love tea will assuredly be pleased by Guerlain's interpretation. I also enjoyed it a lot, but found it a bit redundant since I already have Dear Polly. Unfortunately, it also doesn't displace Armani Privé - Thé Yulong as my favorite tea fragrance due to the amped up neroli and spicy aspect, which is why I won't be going for a full bottle. If I had discovered it before the aforementioned fragrances that are part of my collection, I might have splurged.
