Sampling Buio. Initial thoughts, I've walked into a BBQ joint. Quite smokey. Will be interesting to see how it dries down.

Edit:

Two, two-and-one half hours in, my wife says I smell like a pig roast, and referenced a favorite BBQ joint. While still smokey, it's not as bad as she describes. Don't think it's for me though.

Testing Brutus. It's a fine classy scent, but patchouli aside we have nothing in common.

Coco Eau de Toilette still from a sample, I ordered it, but bought something else that I bumped into in a physical store and thought I should cancel Coco because of that, but was too late, they already had send it and so I can still get it at the collecting point...

Smelling it now...this is so beautyful too...

Wearing my Hawas Black sample. I actually did not like this at all at first (sidenote, almost all of the hawas line has elicited either a slight dislike or a strong indifference in me) but my instincts told me to give this another try and now I am liking it! The oakmoss in this is VERY inky to me. The Hawas line seems more oriented toward a youthful user in my experience, but this one reads more mature and even a little old school.

I settled for the budget friendly version of Louis Vuitton's Ombre Nomade for the evening: Royal Night

I like it for myself, my girlfriend hates it. Since she is away for a few days on a business event I can wear it. I'll probably have to dispose of the bottle some day as she's more dear to me than a perfume and having it catch dust in the cabinet is ridiculous.

I'd rather pass Royal Night on to someone else.
