Through a garden into the forest...
As soon as you spray this on you get this sweet floral smell. The scent changes alot during the initial spray because it becomes an mess of sweetness and floral which is rather good.

The musk and cashmere starts seeping through the floral rather fast and you get this musky, cashmery smell with hints of oud. The cotton candy which was rather an interesting note to combine with oud has yet to arrive.

After a little while the sweetness has finally come back and blends beautifully with the oud making this a rather woody sweet scent at the moment. The woodiness starts to disappear and the sweetness combined with the oud stays.

Overall this fragrance really takes you on a fieldtrip. From a newly blossomed garden in the spring to a walk through the forest. An easy 9.2/10 smell wise.

Addictive combination of notes, attractive on men and women
There is only three scents in Gulf Collection which is not discontinued and this is one of those.

Qatar smells rich, expensive and gasoline like blend with the key ingredients: Peach, Pear, Candyfloss, Casmir Wood, Aoud, Saffron, Labdanum, Musk. I get leathery vibes as well from Labdanum. This is like driving a luxury car with a finest leather seats and a huge tank of gasoline and the next day you have to fill the tank again. I really don't know from where I get that gasoline vibe and I get the same from Sultanate of Oman but it's a pleasant one, somewhat abstract feeling.

From the key notes you can get wrong kind of vibe of this juice because this is not so sweet imo and this is rather a dark and mysterious - and very complex. Oud as a note is very unique as well bringing a depth to the fruits. All those ingredients anyway has an important role here and without flowers in the heart notes this would be boring I think. I have to mention Cotton Candy since I like the idea a lot, it brings a distinct and intoxicating character to the juice and with that note is nice to add the sweet accord in the next level if wanted.

In the dry down this amazing V12 sport wild beast turns a little bit more tame version but the smell itself doesn’t change so much. And it lasts and lasts.

Like all Rojas this is so well blended that it’s really hard to separate all the notes. I love this scent a lot and it’s definitely a backup bottle worthy for me like FM The Perfume as well. And if I spray once Love Don't Be Shy Perfume sugar overload on top I’m in the heaven! I have written of layering pairs with Qatar. I will write a blog of it.

This beautiful scent, absolutely unisex but sweet. It creates amazing bubble around you. Honestly I would need another bottle since I'm afraid to wear this as much as I wanted to.

A Dream in the Palace: Qatar by Roja
Imagine you are visiting a palace. You find yourself in a regal dining room filled with the scent of sandalwood and saffron incense, mingled with the aroma of some kind of Middle Eastern balsam and the burning wood smell from the fireplace.
An old, large wooden table is placed in the center, adorned with numerous bouquets of flowers, predominantly beautiful roses. As you sit, the royal staff brings you a dessert made of peaches, pears, vanilla, and cloves with a pinch of salt sprinkled on top. They also serve freshly made cotton candy to accompany the dessert. What a peculiar combination, you think.
After spending quite some time there, you begin to feel lightheaded. Opting for some fresh air, as soon as you exit the palace, a sudden thought strikes you -
"Was this just a dream?" You start doubting reality. You think, "It can't be dream; it felt so vivid." You continue doubting your reality while still feeling the incense smoke and the taste of peaches and cotton candy in your mouth.

As you stand outside the palace, grappling with the uncertainty of your experience, a gentle breeze caresses your face, carrying with it the faint fragrance of roses from the dining room.
You take a deep breath, allowing the crisp air to clear your mind. Whether dream or reality, the memory of the regal setting and peculiar flavors lingers, leaving you with a sense of wonder and intrigue. With a final glance back at the grandeur of the palace, you set off, carrying the mystery of your encounter with you into the night.
This is how Qatar from Roja feels to me.
It's luxurious and mysterious. Suited for men and women. In my opinion, best
worn during colder months, because hot weather can bring out some urine/animalic qualities. Not a fragrance for daily use, it's special. Sillage and longevity is excellent.

under the spell of the fragrance monster
I admit it without any trace of shame: I have fallen for them, these mighty scents of Roja!
In those I got to know I could wallow like a wild boar in a mud hole!
(Yes, maybe even grunt with delight!)
Fortunately only a few drops are enough to let me get into ecstasy here.

But I wouldn't buy one of those scented "paradise gardens"; even if I could pay it from the proverbial "needle money".
Here once again one of these cases is present, with which I am inspired by something, which I do not have to have however necessarily.
"But it was/is beautiful! And I want to experience it again!"

With Qatar I connect, quite apolitically, the annual prelude of the season of the motorcycle races.
If the starting shot is fired in Doha and the fight for places and points is often enough "with the knife between the teeth", I am there.
It can be even more fascinating here than when hunting Formula 1 racing cars: some of the overtaking manoeuvres with the heavy machines make sure that at least the neck hairs get up! Frightened cries are almost the order of the day; even breathing is unimportant in these moments!

But of course Rojas "Qatar" plays in a completely different league.
Like the four fragrances of this brand that I know, it has too much of everything: too much fruit (sometimes even slightly fermenting), too much flowering (such as the "oozy" jasmine), spices and woods peppered with a portion of animalism that certainly not everyone likes.
If a smoky creature is stored above this fragrance sum, the search for the sign "Exit" is not quite impossible for some.

For me "Qatar" is also like rummaging in Ali Baba's cave!
What incredible treasures are stored here in confusion.
And yes, it can also be ventilated from time to time!
Very sensitive noses should perhaps keep a little distance and possibly even do without a test.

The citric notes at the beginning are quickly replaced by the large flower fields around the former fragrance paradise Grasse: May rose, jasmine and violet were at home there in abundance.
This flower rush is generously supported by the aromas of very ripe, juicy pears and peaches.
Already now a gigantic smell vortex develops, which appears full and rich and very warm even with me fish blood.
The base surprises with cloves and saffron, before woods and resins fight powerfully for their places in this scented fabric!
With some of these fragrance giants, one likes to believe that they "don't take prisoners".
But in trying to recognize and name each one of them, there is a danger of getting lost; of getting lost in the thicket of scents.
The best thing to do is to give yourself to this fragrance flow with all its power and flattery!
It's worth it!
With vanilla and styrax on the shore and lots of musk, unexpected whirlpools finally lead to the destination: ambergris in its fullest beauty climbs this carousel of the most varied scents!

"Be embraced millions - this scent of the whole world!" I would like to call here!
Rojas "Qatar" is a kind of scented madness, which takes you to an Orient of 1,001 nights: through deserts and oases, in serails and camel stables and in lots of fairy tale and dreamland!
Luxurious, superfluous and yet intoxicatingly beautiful!

Sugar orinetals
So must the rich sheikhs or their wives smell when they get out of their expensive cars and go into one of the many modern skyscrapers to close their deals or buy expensive jewelry.

A very beautiful fruity-sweet Oriental, where the oud does not go in the fecal or medical direction, but gives the fragrance a luxurious touch.

Smells a lot like the east and is still very portable for us. Not for every day, but all the more on formal occasions when you want to leave a uniqueness and self-confidence impression.

Ladies dare you, can imagine me this smell very well at self-confident women.

The Sillage does not fill an entire room, but is more than enough to invite those you are talking to or passing by to Qatar for a short time.

Qatar perfectly captures an oriental essence. Sweet fruity rose wrapped in oud, spices, leather and smoke, finishing with a creamy vanilla.

A fruit burst in the opening adds a sweetness to this oriental not so spicy. Smells old, but not as much as many others by this house.
