There are groves, there is forest ...
This is about a real forest !
To give the house a foundation on which everything is built ... The notes given are completely wrong, maybe an admin should correct that :))
Top notes: bergamot, cardamom, clove
Heart notes: cinnamon, ladan resin, nutmeg, clove, cedar, galban resin, cumin
Base notes: myrrh
Ortiental Forest has nothing to do with the Parfumo notes listed above.
To return to the main topic. I had many fragrances that touched on this topic but none of them so far that got to the point so well. Either they were too fresh, mild, poor quality, unbalanced, no performer, etc. but all of this passes him by.
It starts with a green combination of ethereal resinous / spicy with a bergamot finish. Partly this seems so complex that somehow a sweet gummy bear note arises, which I already know from the Ajmal Incense. There are many fragrance impressions pelting down on you.
Bit by bit, you notice how a change is underway until the drydown is reached after an estimated 20 minutes. It begins to become significantly woodier and the myrrh recedes a little, leaving the heart notes on the canvas. From then on, there is hardly any change. The woody/green scent remains until the end.
Subjective opinion ... Of course you can now say that the interpretation of forests can be different, certain perfumers add lavender etc. ... But the scent does not fit the forest theme. The name here is absolutely correct.
Last words, it's amazing how blatantly we humans rush into things that are outside our danger zone ... The fragrance is not reviewed anywhere, nobody even gets the idea to test the fragrance out of their own research. Of course, if influencers had made videos about it, everything would be different.
Enough with this shit, have courage and try it on one occasion.
