A good smelling twin?
I am surprised that very little is written about this fragrance. Since it is supposed to be a Bleu de Chanel clone and La Rive has always been well represented here.
Well then this is my first comment so I ask for your indulgence in case of small errors ;)
I can only make a comparison with the Bleu de Chanel EDP, I never had the BdC EDT
The odor of Ironstone seems much cheaper. At first I can only smell alcohol and shower gel. But from experience I know that you have to give La Rive fragrances at least one hour to smell similar.
I have the feeling that all La Rives do not have a top note or that they only consist of alcohol and that they only have the same base note as their idol
It smells very sporty fresh, aquatic and reminds me of shower gel later on. This noble and special one like the BdC is completely missing. Also the incense is clearly weaker here.
The BdC scented DNA can be seen but by and large I find Extreme story and Cash closer to the original. Not the best clone from la rive but still good for the price.
H&S are weak too.
La rive can definitely do better as you can see from the Cash and Extreme story. H&S are also very strong with these two. I'll write a comment there as well.
In conclusion, what's positive:
The scent is more sporty than the original, so I find this one ideal for sports, because the real BdC is too bad for me and smells too noble for sports
