Please ventilate once...!
The fragrance description reads very excitingly:
Saffron, incense and coriander seeds in the top note, spicy-sweet accents of cardamom, praline and rose geranium in the heart, plus oud, leather and modern wood accords in the base.
In reality, however, the composition did not convince me at all. On my skin, Born for Eternity feels extremely stuffy and synthetic. The numerous Orpur® notes and components such as Akigalawood® and Ambermax® make the fragrance unwearable for me!
Instead of a noble oud-leather spice, a stuffy, suffocating scent unfolds that immediately makes me think of a musty gym changing room. Damp artificial leather, old sneakers, typical sneaker mustiness, mixed with an artificial aquatic note that I have already noticed in some other synthetic fragrances.
I am immediately overcome by the feeling that I need to ventilate and purify the air.
Unfortunately, the individual accords do not blend harmoniously, but create a very stuffy overall impression. For me personally, Born for Eternity is therefore one of the worst fragrances I have tested recently.
But you have to give the fragrance credit for one thing: It lasts forever and was actually born to last.
There are certainly fans of this kind of intense, synthetic woody composition, but unfortunately it's not my taste at all.
