Green Lily of the Valley Eau
Parfums Berdoues BAL DE CLOCHETTES is just as green as it is floral, and there seems to my nose to be just as much jasmine as there is lily of the valley. I myself do not detect much in the way of aldehydes here, and if I were to classify this perfume, I'd call it a floral green.
Like the other members of the series Les Contes Bucoliques, BAL DE CLOCHETTES is a relatively simple perfume, perfect for springtime and fairly fresh smelling. This particular member of the series is not as watery as the others I've tried--compared to those eaux, this seems pretty dry--but it is nice in its own way, provided that one likes one's lily of the valley on the green side. Which I do, now and then...
