Elegant

This perfume is very refined and elegant mix of Vanilla and Oud. The longevity is 6-8hrs with good silage that you can enjoy all day. Can be worn to office without being too loud...An unisex perfume that can be enjoyed by both men and women

What a pity, but great

As the name suggests, a beautiful duet of oud and vanilla. I don't smell jasmine. Warm, slightly sticky-gourmand, but not in an unpleasant way. The oud takes a back seat and doesn't steal the show from the vanilla. This isn't anything wildly complex or really new, but it's still rounded, soft, and a great scent for feeling good and snuggling up.
But now comes the but: Unfortunately, it is very close to my skin and not particularly long-lasting.
Since you can find similarly structured fragrances among the usual suspects in the Arabic sector (Lattafa, Al Haramain, etc.), where the longevity is equal or even better and they cost just a quarter of what I would have to pay for Oud wa Vanilla, it will likely end up being more of a cheapie competition for me.

The Cozy Aura

It’s not cold enough yet. I know. Rather oppressive air in July and I think of cozy scents for the upcoming winter. Crazy. Probably because in rainy Hamburg, a cozy fragrance is particularly important for good mood amidst all the dissatisfied faces in the U and S-Bahn.
That’s when I came across this Berdoues.

A creamy envelope of golden warmth? Not too heavy oud or chemical vanilla? Yes, please!
No body lotion I know achieves this creaminess in EDP form.
This is jasmine oil with a light vanilla note and nothing feels too heavy or overwhelming. The oud doesn’t creak in the background but rounds out the package and adds a light woodiness. Rather dark than light and completely snuggly. Floral oriental and never too masculine or feminine. For everyone, really.
Not every niche fragrance out there manages this... unfortunately.
I took two. Who knows who else might want one.

Jasmine yes, lush maybe, so nothing indolic, sexy-sensual. A bunch of amber, a whole spice bazaar, dry oud, it doesn’t smell oud, cake batter, orange zest, caramelized vanilla, a bit of Christmas.
