Simple yet beautiful

A very pleasantly citrusy coconut milk. The scent doesn't knock you off your feet, but it is still very beautiful in its simplicity and perfect for warm summer days. At first, the bergamot comes through quite strongly, but it quickly develops into a creamy coconut milk. The longevity is quite good, and the scent stays close to the skin. Price/performance is, as always with Berdoues, top-notch.

The name says it all

The presentation of Coco & Bergamote is simple, but definitely does not come across as cheap.
Immediately after spraying, fresh, almost tart lemon/bergamot emerges in perfect balance with the creamier than sweet coconut. I get very clear “Party in the Bay” vibes - which is completely understandable given the quite similar fragrance structure. From the very first moment, it is clear that these two poles are the undisputed main players in Coco & Bergamote.
It’s true: this fragrance conveys a good mood.
After a relatively short time, the scent balance clearly shifts towards coconut. On my skin, the fragrance remains soft, but is definitely subtly underpinned by slightly rough (?) notes, which make the scent unisex for me.
Coco & Bergamote is a rather linear fragrance. Once the coconut takes the lead, not much else happens. However, that doesn’t necessarily have to be a downside for me. It is a pleasant companion through a sunny day, which doesn’t present me with complicated tasks, but simply exists.
Longevity and sillage are okay for me - but definitely not outstanding.
Conclusion: for the price - definitely a great fragrance, which unfortunately - is no longer available…
It’s a real shame for me, because it does bring good vibes - and we could use those!

Fresh Coconut to Fall in Love With

Kindly, I received a sample of this little treasure as a gift.

And what can I say? It completely overshadowed an expensive niche fragrance (which I actually had sniffed) with its longevity of about 10-11 hours.

It smells super fresh of bergamot & coconut. Nothing more, nothing less.
But does it really need to be more in summer at 30 degrees?
At least not for me.

As a coconut lover, it immediately joins my collection because it keeps me going throughout the office day and spreads good vibes.

Really a lot of coconut and a lot of tonka, not fresh, not sweet, just a beautifully pleasant overall composition. Highly recommended.

Artificial O-flower + synthetic coconut musk cream don't evoke any vacation or Caribbean vibes. More like a visit to the chemistry lab.

What a shame, I unfortunately don't like it. Besides a plastic coconut note that is dull and stale, I can't smell anything from the beautiful pyramid.
