Yawn!

Out of Peng Lai's 3 official notes (osmanthus, benzoin, tonka), I only get the osmanthus. Both of the other notes would add warmth and sweetness, but this is a super-clean floral. The osmanthus smells so cool, soapy and sterile, especially at first, it kind of reminds me of hairspray. Later it turns more peachy, which I find much more palatable. The drydown smells better with a little body warmth, so I'd categorize this as a summer perfume.
Now I don't mind inoffensive, clean scents, but this crosses the line to bland. Even though I often write long, detailed reviews, I have no idea what else to say about this.
The most noteworthy thing about Peng Lai is the beautiful pattern on the bottle.

Light and summery

Since I wanted to get to know the Berdoues brand I ordered Peng Lai. I found it interesting that the perfume also contains the molecule Iso-E, which means that it can unfold individually. For me, the fragrance goes in the direction of Pink Molecule, so light, summery but only with a peach note, or rather peach ice tea. It is quite pleasant, but not more than that. You can wear it in hot summer days, because it is so light, or even in the office, it will certainly not bother anyone. The perfume won't be a great love for me, but it's ok for a change in between

Thai chi

After I had liked the Indian elephant of this label, I curiously picked up Peng Lai - admittedly guided by the pretty outfit of the bottle, with the elegant image of cranes faning their wings between lotus blossoms.

The crane - the Asian symbol for a long life.

This fragrance also captivates with its clear transparency - and you think of Zen wisdom: Everything flows.

I remember my Thai Chi lessons, in which one went with as flowing movements as possible from the " ball posture, " over " the mane of the horse to divide ", to the graceful " crane "
This required inner peace and an unstrained, natural body control.

Meditation in space.

And also the scented crane glides silently over me - and reminds me to calm, inner contemplation.

The Osmanthus hovers around me nobly and quietly - sweetly vanilla accompanied by the benzoin resin.
Tonka has a rounded effect - with a hint of marzipan.

This meditative, peaceful mood is extremely beneficial - and you lean back - because the grass grows by itself
